Wayfarer support chat is not supporting, but sending you to the Pokemon GO form

Here are two screenshots. Support chat worked great, but why do I need to use a form when the support chat is basically the same just more efficient?
basically, the whole point of what the chat is for is blocked with such stuff.
Huh, I just had the same experience with the support chat, I thought it must've just been me. Guess not...
Seeing it happen multiple times is worrying. The chat should absolutely handle these requests.
The form is a lot more cumbersome to use, and honestly just seems fit for very specific and uncommon cases.
Interesting. I've had several reports closed recently by the support chat without property reviewing them. It's definitely not working as smoothly as it did before.
We have different teams that work on different issue types. These teams have the required information and tools to assist you with your requests. While we are unable to discuss our internal details, we would appreciate if you reach out to the correct team when redirected.

I absolutely hate that form because nothing applies and I am a very literal person. Just fill it out the best you can. You will get an automated email saying that you have to provide proof you are the property owner. Ignore that. Once you get an email thread going with an actual person, you can have a discussion that way.

Undeestood. However, if you report a location edit >10m and get redirected to the form, it really seems strange. I mean, I choose location edits, so I expect my edit to get processed. Otherwise, you can respond with a bot so I dont need to wait for a response by the support team.
Same with Wayfarer abuse. I dont think that putting the name of Hitler into a Wayspot which doesnt deal with him is appropiate.
@NianticGiffard did you realize the form you gave to OP is for location owners and managers?

Go on "Help" and wait a few seconds. A chat button should appear in the lower right corner.

However, the form linked says it is for the removal of Wayspots. It is a mandatory question to add why the Wayspot should be removed.
I am not sure how this can be the correct form to use, because a removal was not being requested.
Also, the Wayfarer option has an option specifically for Location edits greater 10 metres. How can that not be the correct way to report a location edit greater than 10 metres??

Wow - "reach out to the correct team when redirected"? Do as I say, not as previously instructed? I think I'll stick with Forum request, tyvm - at least then the cause of my frustration would be visible to all, and misery does love company.
Wayspot location edits over 10 metres are specifically meant to be handled through the Wayfarer support chat though. As are Wayfarer abuse reports. That's a big part of why this support chat function was created in the first place.
I would hope this is just a glitch with the chat, similar to what happened in Pokémon Go recently, where several users got an automated response during the middle of them trying to submit a request which basically told them they were banned from submitting support requests due to breaking ToS.
Why does Aaron's answer sound so much like a prewritten default answer here? Like, it doesnt even address the stuff Luke said.
Moving locations is not specifically a Pokemon Go exclusive thing, that is where he is wrong. It could have been affecting an Ingress only Wayspot too.
Remy is specifically made for that purpose, so you don't HAVE to go to message seperate teams, hence the specific questions about location and name, intel link, etc., if it wasn't made for this, it wouldnt send out these questions and have that option. Is Niantic forgetting how their own help chat works?
I also have a 10m+ location edit to make. I will see if I get this pokemon go message too... I hope not.

My photos were taken around a week ago. Thats literally super new. I really dont need to understand the support, right?
The help chat used to work great, but in the last month or so it really dropped off. I wonder if it's related to Niantic sending people in person to check some big cities. Maybe they pulled chat support staff for it and replaced chat support with temp workers or something.
