Additional information: The portal in question was removed for "not having sufficient ped access". However, the portal is reachable by foot for almost half a year on ice (check the latitude, there's ice from the end of October through early May and November through April is very accessible time for it). During summertime there are rowboats and canoes that can be loaned from the city or one of the numerous travel agencies in the city. If you are normally fit, it is also swimmable and has been done by a number of people numerous times. The river's main flow runs on the east side of the island so that isn't a problem either.

The removal was initiated by a known multiaccounter in Ingress, who for some reason has not been banned even though he has been reported by at least 5 people playing in the city.
