Would you accept this Trail Markers?
Niantic Says Trail Ways are Acceptable, but im not sure. Never saw Trail Markers go trough.

Not from that area so my initial view was mixed as I’m not familiar with style of signs in your area. But I can see this area is a great area for hiking with lots of trails. I wondered if BAW meant anything??
So the balance was tipping towards accepting but a doubt remained that this was on a road and therefore more like a road sign.
It illustrates to me the need for local insight 🤔
The Problem is: Its Summer, People are outside, actually i mostly recieve Trail Signs to review. The Trail Signs are on Trail Ways mostly in the mountains.
Everytime i see this Trail Markers my feelings are mixed because i NEVER saw any Trail Markers accepted (expect Wooden ones).
i think when you walk trailmarkers to trail markers it is definitely a nice adventure trail to hike
I never understand why some people review wooden marker different,y from metal ones - it should be about the information it conveys.

There have been a decent amount of posts about this style of trail marker from German-speaking countries. They would definitely be accepted in the countries I've reviewed in, but they seem to get rejected in German-speaking areas.
If you're submitting, make sure reviewers can determine the location clearly, and discuss in supporting information how trails promote exercise and exploration. You can appeal if it's rejected. If you're reviewing, don't be worried about accepting them if that's what you want to do. Or reject if you don't feel it is in a great place to explore or exercise.
Yeah, I think you need a German reviewer or two to chime in here for accurate feedback. That would pass easily in the US, but the German review pool seems to have a different take.
Im not saying it's right but the reason people see them differently is the metal ones look more like road signs compared to the wooden ones which fit in more with being on a nature trail.
I'm guilty of skipping some metal trail markers that come up from foreign countries because im never 100% sure
If you contribute Trailmarkers to the Wayfarer Portal-Network, be sure to have good nerves.
Theres now a fair amount of reviewers in D-A-CH that accept these perfect eligible candidates.
Still; there is a large amount of people that clearly are ignoring Niantic´s Rules.
As a rural contributor in Germany it is hell to only have walking trail paths or cycling trail paths nearby in the woods, and see them shredded on a regular basis.
Still -> Here i am, submitting them into the Database. I do not give up.
I got a trail marker rejected today for "Pedestrian Access" 🤡
It's a mystery to me how a public hiking trail passing by the sport stadium can be at an inappropriate location.
There must be some reviewers out there who really don't like trail markers - or who toss a coin when they decide whether to approve a nomination or not.
What is the trail? I can't quite read the sign.
yes, there are people out there that simply do not want that these come up as wayspots. theres a quite large fraction of voters that still do their own thing (or THEIR own thing).
Do not hesitate to submit trail markers, you will succeed if they are good candidates and you make good photos and a decent text.
What’s the name of the trail?
It says "Græsted Perimetersti" where Græsted is the name of the city it's in and "sti" means "trail" (it's in Danish).
Thank you, I will continue to nominate and have found out it's not worth appealing. It's better to make a new nomination, changing photo of surroundings so it's even clearer that it's pedestrian friendly.
Also I made the mistake of writing supporting text in Danish before I learned that nominations from my area are being sent to Sweden, Germany and even Poland.
