Option to delete rejected submissions from contribution list

Hey Wayfarers,
I was browsing my rejected submissions to see if there was anything I'd like to appeal and noticed there are several submissions (especially from the early days) which were initially rejected but were accepted on the 2nd or 3rd retry as well as a couple that in hindsight I should never even have tried.
It got me thinking that if we could "recycle bin" our rejected stuff that it would declutter the list a bit.
Any thoughts?

The option to “hide” nominations would be great.
Some for example, where I’ve had an Appeal accepted for something I nominated. I may have nominated it a few times, and had it rejected before. I don’t want to waste Niantic’s time by accidentally Appealing the same thing.
Maybe if they’re older than 2 years, you have the option to hide them?
If you ever get a vague disciplinary email from Niantic, and want to browse your nominations to see what what the heck they're talking about, you'll want them all there.
Also, sometimes it's just nostalgic, to look thru all noms, or even just rejects, and see how far you've come. Your own weird scrapbook, lol.
Meanwhile, you can filter out rejects.
The site should remember your last filter, and default to it.
If I got a vague disciplinary email from niantic I don't think I'd give it even that much consideration, those emails are worse than meaningless
Could you not just use the filter option on your contribution list?
It doesn't really solve the problem.
Say for example I submit a name sign for the local equestrian club in town, it's a social club for horse riding enthusiasts. The first time it gets rejected for being a live animal, the second time for being deemed temporary (even though its been there since at least 2007) and then on the third attempt it gets accepted.
Then when I filter for "Not accepted" I have 2 duplicates of something that was not accepted which I won't be appealing either because it was accepted. I'd much rather hide or delete those submissions from the list.
