Dear all,
Are graffiti on the walls of a school valid portals?
As an example, here on this photo of an School 12 to 16/18 years old (IES: Instituto Enseñanza Secundaria) on the walls of the same (red lines) there are lot's of great graffiti.
Would those be eligible as valid portals?
I've seen several ones like this one disappearing over the city, and I wouldn't want to request something that is not legal.
Thanks for your help.

Graffiti is not eligible, and school property is not eligible. So this hits multiple rejection criteria.
Hi!
I looked at streetview, and they looks like comissioned murals rather than graffiti. To explain how it's seen by Niantic to OP: Graffiti are illegal paintings that will be removed/painted over if someone reports them to police or local goverment so they're ineligible for Niantic. Murals are comissioned to be painted in this place by someone (like owners of building, local goverment etc.), they are often quite artistic and are eligible for Niantic (if they're not in location that is ineligble, like school).
As X0bai-PGO mentioned, things on K-12 school grounds (painted on school building or ar located in this builidng, sports fields that belongs to school, monuments or other eligible things that are on school grounds) are ineligible, and by Niantic rules they should be rejected for being on school grounds.
So in this case you have murals on school grounds, and because of it being on school grounds they're ineligible and should be rejected. I would look for something else in public area (that doesn't belong to school ground) to nominate, as these murals will be rejected because of they location.
In order to clarify this:
When people in Spain says "Graffitti", in many cases they might mean "murals" in English, that's the way that the word is commonly used.
Ok, so they are on a k12 ground, meaning that they aren't valid POI. Thanks a lot for the confirmation.
Now regarding graffiti and not murals.
Do you mean that for example this non authorized graffiti on a parking lot is not legal?
Which removal criteria do you think that it meets?
Being used by the opposite faction is not a valid reason BTW.
Off corse not, I'm asking because it is an unathorized graffiti. Is the first time I hear about this rule and I just want to double check it.
You have hit the ulterior motive fully. The author of this particular post has been denouncing wayspots for some time that in some cases certainly do not comply with Nia's standards, such as these murals on the outside wall of a secondary school... but it seems that for the author of the post these standards they are only mandatory for the opposing team.
I personally do not understand the author's doubts, since in that same place, 4 wayspots have already been eliminated previously, 2 of them in the last few weeks.
If the author denounces these wayspots, they should be eliminated without much problem, as has already happened with others.

Again: Which Removal criteria do you think that it meets?
There's no need for us to tell you our opinions. Just open Ingress, select the portal and use the option to report it. If none of the Removal reasons that Niantic proposes are a good match for this portal then you're out of luck and the rest of the players will keep on using that wayspot.
Hi @WheelTrekker-ING it's not about removing portals, but about requesting new ones that are not valid, something that I would like to avoid. I'm referring to this particular graffiti because the "artist" did the same graffiti on several other places other the city that might be also requested as valid portals.
I don't really understand such aggressiveness on a player just wanting to know the rules to avoid doing something which is not legal.
Have a nice day.
Are you asking if those graffitis can be removed, or if they are acceptable as Wayspots?
If it's the latter, please refer to @X0bai-PGO 's comment.
Ok so if it's a NON-AUTHORISED painting regardless of definition (graffiti, mural, art whatever) then it's not authorised and illegible.
If it's on SCHOOL GROUNDS it's NOT AUTHORISED and therefore illegible.
Hope that clears it up for you.
