Appealing An Incorrectly Decided Appeal

Hey, all:
Question - How would one go about appealing an incorrectly decided appeal? One of my appeals was incorrectly decided as a duplicate when it isn't a duplicate. I'm honestly hoping the decision was just an innocent oversight on Niantic's part. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks!

Are you sure the decision was incorrect? Have you confirmed that it doesn't exist in the Lightship database? If you're not 100% certain of that then tell us what it was and where it was (exact coordinates if possible) and we can confirm.
Howdy, Hosette!
I'm 100% positive it's not in the database/games. I double and triple-checked before nominating the statue.
There is no appealing an appeal. You can resubmit, but if voters have rejected and Niantic has rejected, then it is probably time to move on.
1) Don't forget that not all Wayspots appear in any games at all. The PoGO submission map will show hidden Wayspots that are "Lightship only" (and of course those that are Portals / PoGO only) but you have to be in the immediate vicinity.
2) Niantic has incorrectly rejected before. A few instances, people have posted their rejections and Niantic has overturned them. In at least one instance, Niantic doubled down on the rejections with reasons that confounded many of us and seemed incorrect.
So, you could try posting and tagging the team, but no guarantees it'll be any better than your previous rejections.
When nomination is duplicated (by reviewers or through an appeal), your photo is added to an existing wayspot (not in ingress though, because of infamous ingress bug). Have you checked nearby wayspots - can you find the wayspot with your photo?
Then, how far your statue is from the "duplicate"? If, for example, it's duplicated to different statue 20m away - it's clearly an error. If it's part of big monument, submitted in the same location - it's considered a duplicate.
Sometimes when a thread like this gets enough traction niantic will step in and fix things. Probably quicker to just keep submitting though
I'd still love to see your submission and what it's allegedly a duplicate of. Would you mind sharing, @TablogEimrats-PGO? I'm curious to see what mistake Niantic made and why they might have been confused.
I’ll get everything together and post it for you in a few days. I want to make sure I present everything in a clear, concise and professional way.
