Is this structure a pavilion or a gazebo?

I wanted to nominate something, but need to ask beforehand what the structure is.
Is the structure a pavilion or a gazebo, in your opinion? I myself have no idea what the structure could be and that is why I'm asking. A link to a photo of the structure: https://prnt.sc/dTwpR3Vxw4Oo

The structure is not all that I'm nominating, it's just a part of it.
I would say that looks more like a pergola than a gazebo or pavilion. Still makes for a good nomination, as they're all functionally similar things, and you'd probably get away with calling it any of those 3 terms as a lot of reviewers don't bother to check the differences (we have a pavilion in our town that's called a gazebo in the database).
I forgot I could just straight up copy the photo to my post here;

The overhead structure is a pergola. Given the table and chairs underneath I personally would also classify it as a picnic area.
Yep, that is a pergola. You could also call it a shelter if you wanted another word. It is neither a gazebo nor a pavilion, though.
I'm going to mention it being a pergola then with the nomination since the opinions so far thinks that.
I agree. It’s a pergola because of the way the roof is made with an open lattice. The main difference between a pergola and a gazebo is the function of the roof. A gazebo & a pavilion will provide full coverage from the sun, while a pergola will allow for sunlight to shine through its slatted roof. Typically, a pergola will provide partial shelter & shade over a garden, pathway, or patio. The cross beams are for vines to weave in & out of
There is a meme about this, similar thing from Yardistry upon quick search. There is also the trellis but those are planting structures.
Sorry, but my humour is too bad to find that one funny
Not supposed to be funny, my fault calling it a meme though. I guess it's an infographic but came across it enough when these topics are talked about.
I was going to edit that comment, it got automatically deleted instead.
Did my comment actually get deleted tho? I can see it from phone still...🤔 Perhaps not from my PC, uncertain about that tho...
Can still see the original one that I replied to.
Just to confuse you more, there are places in the Western part of the US that would call this a ramada, I think. As far as this East Coaster can tell, pergolas and ramadas are the same thing.
Oh, maybe I'm wrong:
"Ramadas have traditionally been constructed with branches or bushes by aboriginal Americans living in the region (deriving from the Spanish rama, meaning "branch"). However, the term today is also applied to permanent concrete, wooden, or steel structures used to shelter objects or people from the sun. For example, public parks in desert areas of the United States may contain ramadas with picnic tables, restrooms, water sources, etc. Since sunlight is more of an environmental hazard than wind or snow or rain in this part of the world, a roof alone provides substantial shelter. And because there are no walls in the structure, airflow is unrestricted, helping to keep the temperature below the roof substantially cooler than ambient."
I was born and raised in the Western United States and I have never heard of a “ramada” except as a hotel.
Welcome to wayfarer where you learn in depth differences between simple things you never realised you didn't know to begin with.
Ironically the majority of people reviewing submissions are likely unaware too and vote based on if it just sounds right for what they are looking at :D
Pergola sounds about right for this submission
It can be impossible for some people to tell the differences between a gazebo, pavillon, pergola, and so on 😅
