Where did my upgrade go?

I earned an upgrade earlier today. The submission that was marked "upgrade next" has not changed. My profle says I am on 3% of an upgrade and no upgrades available. So where is my upgrade?
PS. I have not used the new option to turn off automatic upgrades.

it was automatically applied to your oldest submission. the upgrade next (for things that are currently in voting) is no longer working since the new update. they are looking into it.
So it was wasted on the sub that was the furthest through the process, that I had deliberately not upgraded for 2 years. They should reimburse people's wasted upgrades.

Further to the above post, The one which was marked "upgrade next" has now been accepted without an upgrade, but it still says "upgrade next" on it. It appears I cannot turn on automatic upgrades again without wasting a second upgrade.
We have now fixed the issue, please write back if you're still experiencing it.
