Someone did mention that portals were sometimes used as "sinks" in the middle of pools, but it still begs the question, why block community pools and not all of them? Most of the community pools I know area too small to keep people from accessing them, while an Olympic althete surely trained at an Olympic size swimming pool.
This is a little bit of a tangent, but I'm starting to get worried about how every playground has or is on the way to having a Pokestop. If pedophiles catch on to this they could so easily **** their local playgrounds and take pictures under the guise of "I'm playing Pokemon Go/Ingress/HPWU." It gives me the heebie jeebies a bit.
That is interesting that they asterisked out that word. It is not one considered traditionally foul. It simply means to follow someone with menacing intent. Obviously I don't like the act in any situation, but I don't know why I'm discouraged from using the word. Sorry, mods?
That's an interesting take, but I don't think that's true or they wouldn't encourage playground subs. See my post above ( which I wrote before I noticed your comment, but is along those lines).
The profanity filter in these forums is VERY sensitive. If you see people using a period or space between letters l.i.k.e. t.h.i.s. it is to avoid tripping the profanity filter 😂 There are A LOT of non-swear words it blocks out. Don't stress it too much.
It annoys me a bit that this says "answered" when I have looked over all of the posts more than once to verify that I clicked "no" each time. :\
That is kind of odd. I wonder why that is??
Ah ok I am seeing the difference now. Some say "answered" like this one, which is probably being marked by a Niantic employee.
Other threads instead say "accepted answer" which is probably for when the OP selects an answer.
Copy the hyperlink for "No" next to "did this answer" and paste it into your web browser. Edit the commentid to "=15918" and it should change it. Your link will look like...
https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/qna/reject?commentid=15918&tkey=14aEu4MQZCDcQalf
...except the &tkey= code will be unique to this thread.
This is because there are comments by a user in this thread whose comments are not publicly visible. I think that's the only blocked one.
Yeah, but the pools are nearly all indoors, like sports centers. So the building could easily be nominated without any danger.
To be honest, since plenty of minors play the games, they could do this at any major Wayspot.
If someone shady is going to use "playing an AR game" as an excuse to case an area and watch kids, they are going to do so regardless of whether or not there is actually a POI in the game or not.
me imagino que estan dentro del apartado elementos naturales, ya que dice nada de agua rios etc...
