Additional information: These wayspots were removed following a location edit for the **** Forces Memorial wayspot. I believe the reason for the removal was the presence of a preschool in connection with Peace Lutheran Church, but I believe that the removal should not have occurred. My argument primarily concerns clarifications made in the answer to Question 56 of the November 2019 AMA.
Q56: Can we have a clarification on whether all properties owned by Scouts and Guides should be marked as "K12" please?
A56: I am told that if they're full-time Cadet or Scout buildings where the primary purpose is gathering of people in the K-12 age range with a membership component, it would be considered similar to a private daycare center and ineligible. However, if it's a public gathering place that's occasionally used for Scout or Guide meetings, then yes it would be eligible.
My two main arguments in this case are 1) that the primary purpose of Peace Lutheran Church is not the gathering of people in the K-12 age range, and 2) that it is a public gathering place, including during those times during which parts of the building are used to host the preschool.
1) As a church, Peace Lutheran primarily exists to provide a place of religious worship to their community. The people of the church also seek to improve their community through a number of programs that are secondary to their main ministry. The existence of the preschool in a wing of their building is one such outreach of the church, but not the church's primary purpose. It is a secondary ministry in the same way the church food shelf and the Peace Community Garden are secondary ministries. The preschool is even listed on their website as a sub-category within the various youth programs at the church.
2) The church offices are open for visitors on Monday-Thursday from 8:30-5. This means that visitors are both expected and welcome at the church in it's capacity as a public gathering space even when the preschool is in session.
Since K-12 education is not the primary purpose of the Peace Lutheran Church building, and since it remains a publicly accessible gathering place during the periods in which the preschool meets, I believe the wayspots on the property should be eligible under the clarifications laid out in the November 2019 AMA. Barring any further relevant clarifications that I am unaware of, I would ask that these three wayspots be reinstated.

@NianticGiffard can you take a look at this one and explain why these were removed?
This looks like a case where the church contacted Niantic to have all Wayspots removed from the property. If that is the case, they will not be restored.
That would be understandable, but it's not the case here. I made a location edit to one of the wayspots and the response I received said that they had accepted the location edit but that they had decided to retire the three wayspots.
Thanks for the appeal, @Skalreth-PGO! We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire these Wayspots.
