The POI's pathetic quality makes it easy to add fake duplicates.

As I wrote in this thread, accepting such Wayspots easy allows cheating. I'm not saying that the entire series of the "szlaku kartuskiego" is fake, but these two Wayspots are clearly the same tree.
"25.18 km szlaku kartuskiego" https://intel.ingress.com/intel?pll=54.342182,18.472947
"Oznaczenie Szlaku Kartuskiego na 24,86 km" https://intel.ingress.com/intel?pll=54.341977,18.473048
Perhaps there are more of these, all Wayspots are too similar to each other. I ask the creators or defenders of these false submissions to explain logically how this is possible? According to you, this tree is 32 meters away from itself.
Wait... I think I already know! Cells!
Cheaters... So much... @NianticVK @NianticGiffard

the photos are similar but not the same, you can show an e-mail with a request for removal or a spherical photo if we have a second submitter in Poland like a player from Rzeszów who claimed to be from Krakow and still had an interesting bike
These photos shows the same tree from a different angle. Don't be ridiculous.
it means that you have not been there, you only use additional software and check the object by object and those that you do not like are not reported through the game because you were never there physically ??
No, I'm a dendrologist and computer graphics specialist. And also big fan of "find the difference" pictures. Anything else?
That same problem could happen if it was a sign with a post, so the problem isnt "pathetic quality". We've seen so many fakes in other places with every kind of fake info signs.
People that want to cheat are gonna find always a way to cheat, specially in Niantic's games because Niantic doesn't care about cheaters.
I will go there today, in a difference from you, when it turns out that it is indeed a duplicate, I will report it for removal by the game as it should be done or I will ask the author of the nomination to submit it to the support
Compare the trees: https://revision.lukasz.cc/view/Cvpa3PZkXHMFb5gBXdHo6USrxXLeEoQL
Very good idea! But you don't replace this photo with another one?
rather, I will report it for removal or ask the author of the nomination to write to the support, of course, when I see an interesting object in the area, I will wait for the community to answer if they think that the object is suitable, but before that I will take a spherical photo xd
Don't need to use any third-source software or plug-ins, all need is Intel maps.
additional software beyond the game, of course, I did not think about any illegal maps, etc.
The photos are not the same, but they show the same tree with the tag
"Duplicate" is a red herring in this discussion. This is a fake and therefore abuse. You don't need to be on site to report this; you just need the wayspot names and coordinates (or map links). Go to the Wayfarer website and go to the Help page in the menu. Then click on the orange chat bubble in the bottom right corner. Type "Skip," enter your contact email, and then choose "Report Wayfarer abuse."
Am I anywhere asking for these Wayspots to be removed? No. I'm just noting that such Wayspots should not appear, because they provide too many opportunities for cheating. And there are plenty of people who take maximum advantage of this and go for the easy way. That's Dark side of the Force.
I do not know what this entry is for, I wrote that I will go today and check it carefully, maybe you want to go with me ??
If you approve it even once, it will be irreversible because the same actions will be repeated or imitators will appear.
It may be necessary to think about what to do with illegal spots released into the field.
I see no point in going there. I am not interested in these routes, I am not interested in whether they are duplicates or fakes, or which of them is real. I do not submit them for removal, I was bored, I wanted to color the tree a little.
if the markings of hiking trails qualify as a wayspot, they should be accepted, of course, all violations of any kind should be severely punished, but you do not think that in this case there was a mistake, why make a duplicate, you can find more markings, but you assumed unfair that it was a deliberate action where your faith in people and common sense ??
I'm not assuming anything, I just noticed that both photos are from the same tree. I haven't even looked where those POIs are. Not my monkeys, not my circus
Can we please require “Poland” in the subject line of all Polish threads so I can more efficiently ignore them going forward?
Your post brought its first results, glory
Did you take photos of the wayspots in your visit yesterday?
Were they different markers on two different trees that by a miracle look exactly the same?
yesterday I couldn't make it, but today I was there there was a mistake either with the issuer or the system of storing nominations, it turned out that there are two different objects but one photo
this is what the second object was supposed to look like
Great sleuthing! I hope you submitted a picture.
This, plus once your photo is approved, you can request the incorrect photo be removed via the "Wayspot Photo Appeals" section of this forum.
This morning both objects were removed from the game although one is correct
So you can write appeal.
Correction to the notification: the disappeared Wayspots were in one cell. There are simply so many of the same POIs, that I got confused... My apologies... But as you can see, the submitter himself got confused in the clutter of the same photos - I completely understand him.

Undoubtedly, the exhibitor made a mistake, issued two nominations with one photo and there is no doubt about that
You wrote that the distance between the objects is 32 meters when it is actually 25 meters (yes, I know it's also a lot, but it's about the accuracy of the entire report)
suggested that it was a specially placed duplicate to s2 cells
when the true cell spacing is as follows
it is clearly visible that the s2 cell spacing is different, whether there was a mistake or a special manipulation of the cell layout, it is not for me to judge. You can also note that one reported object is a pokestop and the other a portal
I am also surprised how easily it is to call a mistake a fraud and a deliberate one at that
the author of the post I write that this is a pathetic quality and forget about the niniatic qualification criteria
The Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Turystyczno-Krajoznawcze) is responsible for marking tourist routes and for the entire trail, so only they can design and mark tourist routes, so there is no possibility that someone will run with a brush in the forest and paint trees and the markings themselves are under legal protection
Remember that there are similar trail markings all over Europe
The same signs as in Poland can be found in Central and Eastern Europe in countries such as Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, etc.
but, for example, in Germany there are no standard markings, everything depends on the club that serves a given area, but you can find here the same markings as in Poland
Therefore, I invite you to visit similar tourist routes and the niantic maps only gain in value when such objects are in the game and thank you for your apologies, but we do not know exactly for what
