Many of us have things In Voting or In Queue from before the appeal process even started (December 2021).
I love that appeals are so much faster than making a new nomination.
I have accepted appeals that were nominated 2017, 2018, 2019. The six months they were in appeal are a tiny fraction of the total time I've waited on them.
Yes, I'd LOVE if appeals were resolved faster. But I've learned from experience, that it hurts to get excited about new wayspots.
I still have an appeal from April 4, last year lol ridiculous. And sometimes the only way they get approved is by appeal because the reviewers pool is caca
Your original nomination may have been submitted on April 4th 2021, but you can't have submitted an appeal for it then as appeals only went live around December 8th/9th 2021.
Well the point of an appeal is to get a poi accepted that the local community didn't accept because too many make up their own rules. So resubmitting just leads to another rejection. In my case trail markers, pubs and restaurants just won't pass no matter how eligible the are.

Takes months and months for an appeal...
It´s faster to just resubmit the nomination, even without an upgrade ;)
Not really. I had one taken to voting and approved a few hours later.

How long did it take for that nomination to actually go into voting though?
I had nominations that I submitted in April and May that got approved, and I have been sitting around waiting for appeals from January to get approve.
It was one from back when you could do it daily so whenever that was.

is it only me or did the term "appeal" and "nomination" get mixed up in this thread?
They seem to be used correctly the way that I've read the posts.
