About moving gyms
Hi, I come here in search for some knowledge in regards of wayspot editing, since I recently started getting involved in this world.
In an urban plaza close to where I live there are 2 gyms, they've been there for a long time, those were created in times were abusing the gameboard was easy for many and organized. The thing is one of those wayspots was misplaced on purpose and those 2 wayspots should be in just one L14 cell, not two.
I'm gonna show you this example to make my questions:
Imagine that both gyms (red circles) should be located in the A L14cell, if I request a location edit for gym 2 in the B L14 cell to be moved back to A, will it disappear? will it stop being a gym and another pokestop located inside the bigger L17 cell become a gym? or... will both gyms stay on the same cell?
I ask this because earlier this year I sent an edit for 3 pokestops that were misplaced by someone on purpose in a park and they got moved to their right place BUT the three of them remained as pokestops while being inside the same L14 cell. Will the same happen if I move gym 2 closer to gym 1, will both of them remain as gyms?
Has anybody seen this situation before? I know those are a lot of questions but I don't want to mess things up in the gameboard.

Gyms aren’t a relevant thing to Wayfarer. Raise your query in the Pokémon GO app.
if its misplaced it should be moved to the proper location it doesnt matter if its a gym or not.

The pokestops are restricted by Level 17 cells, that's why they might have stayed while moving them to their correct positions. Gyms are restricted by Level 14 and when you move one, usually their status is re-evaluated according to the new cell, so most of the times that means that it will be demoted to a pokestop.
Thanks for the lively discussion on this thread. Based on the content of the discussion, I will be closing it for future comments. I appreciate your understanding.
