Removal request, former lodge now private residence

Title of the Wayspot: Rock Lake Lodge
Location:
53.469497,-118.238171
City: Yellowhead County, Alberta
Country: Canada

Additional information: Used to be publicly accessible, as it was a lodge available for rent. Now it’s a private residence. Google says it’s permanently closed. Agents try to get there and can’t without trespassing. I know the Res will cry about taking out their permanent impossible inaccessible couch portal… but that’s not really in the spirit of the game now is it?

Drove out to the portal. There was a wooden gate with a large "private property" sign attached. Not accessible from the road at all. Not accessible by the general public.
The owner of the 'lodge' is a actual player in our greater area and is very quick to remind anyone who goes close to this portal that it's private property, and has several times threatened to have police involvement with trespassers, it's a headache of a portal that only he has access too but yet the entire group of res that play with him all have many many (I assume quantum capsules full of keys) constantly feilding over hundreds of miles with this portal!
It's permanently closed to public, it should be removed
You probably should've got a picture as proof of this. That being said, this may help the three of you prove that it's closed for good (Google listings can sometimes be wrong after all):
That is an official business registry that shows the lodge is no longer active as a business.
Freely admit I shoulda snapped a pic. Was bummed I couldn't get the portal...
Screenshot from @HankWolfman-PGO link: the business license is inactive
And an about section of this website:

Appeal Denied - Thanks for the appeal, Agent. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
There seems to be an active website for the lodge which is taking bookings? That doesn't seem like it is permanently closed... https://rocklakelodge.ca/
Their Facebook page is also advertising as of just a few weeks ago... https://www.facebook.com/RockLakeLodge/
Both seem to indicate that the business is still up and running, therefore customers of the business would have access.
I thought that as well at first, which is why I went and checked the business registry and found it was indeed closed.
You cannot actually book on the website (I tried), and other hotel websites that have this place listed also come up saying they've got no available dates for bookings.
The Facebook page is odd, as it was active within the past couple of months as you said. If a place is going out of business, they would usually announce that on their social media. You could always try sending them a message? Given that they abruptly stopped posting though, I wouldn't get your hopes up for a reply.
Is it possible that their trading business name is different to Rock Lake Lodge Ltd.?
A customer left a positive review in July 2022 through AirBNB and the owners replied (also July 2022) saying "Can't wait until you stay with us again!".
@NianticOtoStar @NianticCasey-ING I highly recommend you take a closer look at this rather than a cursory denial. The property owners of this residence are in fact players of Ingress who can control access to the portal, and can put up whether the area is open at their choosing.
These types of portals are extremely toxic to the health of the game and drive players to quit. Start taking them more seriously.
Why is this still a portal when it has no trespassing signs everywhere, and is permanently closed? I've noticed a few portals with fences, gates and or no trespassing signs, private property and they still get to stay. Makes no sense, as you can't go on private property to play game.
