Trail Marker in neighborhood?

Our Neighborhood has a few trail markers all the way around with encouraging messages on one side ( the walking side) and the speed limit on the other side for cars coming the opposite way, would these be acceptable? People walk, run, ride their bikes, and walk their dogs all the way around all the time.

You should focus only on the walking side. There's too much debate around trail markers, as some people claim that anything is a trail marker and others request that it must be a high quality sign on a know trail with online proof.

So the best chances are if those markers include the trail name besides those encouring messages, and of course they must NOT be on PRP.

Submit one: if accepted, submit thes others.

if it’s rejected, make an appeal, Niantic will certainly validate it (if it’s a real trail marker) and then submit the others.

I think @Aeryle88-PGO has the right idea. "Trail markers" have such a wide variety of opinions that the best route is to submit one or two and see what your local community thinks. You can't predict the result from answers on this forum. Also, don't use an upgrade so you can see just your local area's opinion.

Can you post just one potential picture so we can have a look please.

if there is a webpage Facebook group about the trail then do include that in the supplementary info.

Sounds like these are near PRP. If they are on PRP, don’t nominate them. If they are not on PRP you’ll want to definitively show what they are on (as opposed to just writing “not on PRP,” which no one will believe).

@X0bai-PGO They are not on PRP they are in a Apartment complex in very public areas in a non gated neighborhood. Where they are located on a circular trail that encompasses it. They are all on grass that is not interfering with private residential property or single family homes. And my supporting picture does a good job of detailing that as well as being visible from google satellite images (yes it goes that far back). I am now working with the leasing team to get some kind of post that details when and why they were put in place to encourage residents and create a sense of community and encourage exercise.
