Sync for Pokemon is working again. Is the problem also solved in WU?
No. At least not until now 19:49 (GMT+3), I'll update this comment tomorrow after 6am, around that time, is when sync used to happen in WU.

Sorry to say that the resolution for Pokémon GO is unique to that game and a much simpler fix than what's currently ongoing in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
The team is still working but no progress to report just yet. Thanks for your patience.
@NianticCasey-ING Im sorry, but it really sounds like WU players are getting zero priority here.
it took 4 weeks for Niantic to even admit there was an issue. And for a week still haven’t been able to solve it. Pogo players complain and get a response same day and fix 3-4days later.

Kids these days. So entitled. "it's been 5 weeks without new submissions going through", "it's been 3 days without submissions going through", "sync time happened and my pokestop hasn't shown up in 10 whole minutes!"
Back when I was playing Ingress, new submissions stopped going through for over 2 years. Did they hear us complaining about it??? Hell no. We didn't have a forum to reach them. Even if we did manage to get a smoke signal that someone at Niantic happened to notice, hell would likely freeze over before anyone from the company actually responded. No sir, if we were lucky they would tell us stuff after they were done implementing it, likely without much detail and we just had to take it whether we liked it or not.

Pokemon GO is Niantic game, HPWU is a collaboration between Niantic and WB. It is quite likely that a breakdown in the interface between Niantic and WB parts is much harder to fix than when something breaks within one company.
yes. Very likely. But i still shoudnt take 4 weeks to acknowledged the problem when both WB and users are reporting the issue.

Me too. The missing portal I linked earlier in the thread has now appeared.

Although I don't play HPWU, my friends in Malaysia have reported the sync has occured since this morning.

I'm happy to confirm that this issue has been resolved and (as a few of you have mentioned) the outstanding, approved Wayspots have been synced with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

2 POIs didn't show up on the game, and they are literally with no other Pois near.
They both got approved a week ago, and I saw some other people asking the same.

The Portals are not in sync with the Wizard United's POI.
Neither edits nor new portals, why this again?
Do we need to pin every schedule problem about the mapping update?
We had, what? Maybe 1 or 2 weeks when the game actually worked with the new portals... man, this is really frustrating.
Something like this happened maybe 2 or 3 times in PoGO's, but this may be the 5th time I'm seeing someone complaining about this incident in WU.... @NianticCasey-ING please check with wayfarer team one more time???
These three are all new to my area and none show up on my Wizards Unite. The first being the most important to me as I'd be able to reach it from my apartment.
J'ai 10 pokéstop validé qui ne sont toujours pas apparut et depuis plusieurs moi le premier avant confinement et le dernier mois de juin je sait pas de quoi sa viens ils sont conformes ils ont était accepté moi non apparut sur PGO. Depuis MTN 4 mois pour le premier..
We had the sync resolved maybe after 1month/40days the first incident on April.
Then had stopped again 50days ago and nothing had been said about it.

We need to sync the HPWU map, people are playing with 1inn while should be at least 4 or 5 in the map. For real, why takes so long to fix the sync on this game while Ingress is instant and Pokemon GO almost never stop?

Sync still doesn't seem to happen reliably.
At this given moment, from the last sync there are 16 portals approved, 9 pokestops created and 2 gyms, but yet 0 inns.
@Kellerrys-ING it is in at least one official list of known HP:WU issues - in release notes for 2.14. See https://community.harrypotterwizardsunite.com/en/discussion/7754/game-update-2-14-release-notes/p1 - "Wayfarer: approved Wayspots do not sync to the Map."
I could not find this issue in the other "known issues" lists - https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/hpwizardsunite/?p=web&s=known-issues&l=en and https://community.harrypotterwizardsunite.com/en/discussions/tagged/known-issues/
https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/categories/known-issues has this issue in "Resolved" status, probably referring to when this happened first time in April/May.
