The three that got away.... Failure #1

So just got back from vacation and of the 8 POIs I submitted, 3 failed..... Any advice is always appreciated.

Failure #1: This one I was unsure of. Its a trail with a little branch off to river. Has anyone ever used trail intersections without man made objects as waypoints?

Description
Fishing trail down to the Clinton River off of the Clinton River Spillway trail
Location
26710 Ballard St, Harrison Twp, MI 48045, USA
Supplemental Information
Nice point along trail for exploration. People can use the small trail down to the river. The paved trail in the supporting photo is part of Clinton River Spill Way Trail which is part of a very large trail system called the Michigan Freedom Trail. This link is to the map (can google Michigan Freedom Trail map if you dont want to click link) https://mitrails.org/library/magazine_pages_pdf/328%20-%20Freedom%20Metro%20Trail.pdf you will notice in the bottom right in red lettering the "Clinton River Spill Way Bike Path". This would be a good anchor point as a connection and explore to fishing point and river below.
Comments
This just looks like a small offshoot path to the river. As there is no physical marker I would say no.
If that's accepted as a wayspot, I guess that soon there will be millions of request about any random path.
I would say that you need the same requirement as any other trail: a marker that anchors the wayspot.
It looks like a nice spot but I can't see it going through unfortunately :(
Yeah this was the one I expected to fail.
My logic went like this:
Since main path was man made & a mapped/named major trail, the offshoot trail to river was just a visible marker for a point along it. So I was looking at the offshoot as the marker.
Since no one has seen a similiar approval, and no one is commenting they like the logic, this is obviously one to just move on from.
