This nomination is fake. The main image is fake. The plaque might as well read "THIS LOOKS SHOPPED / I CAN TELL FROM SOME OF THE PIXELS AND FROM SEEING QUITE A FEW SHOPS IN MY TIME".

Yup, especially considering they had to doctor the photo of a British war memorial to do it, mongrels. Objects in the circle above the faked plate/plaque is of crossed cannon barrels and denotes a soldier of a British Artillery Unit.
Another fake with an appalling photoshop in the same area. "Ex-Services Memorial".

Also cannot find "Barngeong Trail" in Croydon. In the location of this POI is the "Brushy Creek Trail" Barngeong Reserve - Maroondah City Council

Why is it fake?
Look at the trail marker, it is the same image template as another fake that has already been removed by Niantic.

That is not the same fence.
Wow, that is bad editing. The top-left of the fence is so poorly photoshopped. The rest may have been believable without looking at it further. Though it's on the fence of a residential property, so would have been rejected anyway.
Below is the most recent photo I can get of that address, the location seems fairly accurate, especially with reference to the seating bench. But the photoshopping is the killer part. Niantic definitely need to step in and ban the user submitting these.

This is ridiculous. Here is another one... "Aboriginal Rock Plaque".
The description was bad enough. Like, there are words on the plaque and they went with "It is a plaque"? What about what is written on the plaque?
And then you zoom in and it is another appalling photoshop.
