Do bars and pubs fall under the Rejection Criteria

The Rejection Criteria states that "Location is an adult-oriented store or service, such as a liquor store, **** range, firearm store, or provides **** and/or pornographic content.

Am I correct in assuming that bars and pubs also fall under this disapproval criteria?

    It depends.

In the U.K. pubs for example they are not adult only …many have play areas for children. So it would be rare for a pub or bar to be rejected for that reason ( they are great social places so nearly always accepted here)

So it depends where you are and the nature of bars/pubs

No, bars and pubs do not meet this criteria.

    "Depends" is correct.

In the UK, they usually are accepted from what I've heard. In the US, it depends on the state. There are many bars that serve food but don't allow children at any time. If you live in a state or area with relaxed attitudes towards alcohol, you should never use an upgrade on a bar/pub because overall they tend to get rejected in the US.

(Obviously, other countries exist too, but those are the ones I've heard/know about. In Korea, they would definitely be rejected as "adult oriented".)

The adult orientated was more aimed at gentlemans clubs, liquor stores etc, bars and pubs tend to be for socialising and the like. That being said, it's entirely up to the reviewers interpretation, they might see bars as off limits if its clear kids are never allowed in

We have a lot of breweries in my area (U.S.) that are accepted wayspots, and a few "pubs," but I would personally reject one that was just a bar, where the primary function is to drink & kids are not allowed.

If they card at the door, it's probably not a good wayspot?
