What do you all use for generally finding info when you are not at the location? I'm sure there's loads I haven't seen that I could use.

I use the national library of Scotland.
especially the maps which cover England . If you researching an area going through the old maps let’s you see the history of the area. You can see the old routes, and where mile marker and boundary stones were placed.
plus I find searching local history groups useful.
Thanks. I like this page, just an individual researching and looking at mile, boundary markers etc but some neat stuff under research

Can people from the UK get to https://weirdnj.com/ ? I truly don't know which sites are restricted to domestic use, for which I do apologize.
I rarely get location restricted tbh, that was fine though.
