That being said, Upgrades help in fast-tracking the Wayspots that you've nominated by reviewing others' nominations. Please note that it won't guarantee a specific review period as they still adhere to the same criteria for acceptance of standard nominations. @ElgambinoJoyBoy-PGO If this is stuck for several months despite being upgraded also for several months, you should insist more that Niantic investigates this because no upgrade takes longer than 48 hours, especially in countries with a lot of reviewers like France. There were upgrades getting stuck due to bugs in the past. If that's the case maybe tag Niantic Giffard instead

I have looked into it and couldn't find an issue. The time required for your submission to go to voting and be reviewed may be affected by the number of reviewers in your community and the backlog of submissions. This means we can not give you an exact timeline. Having said that, this submission should be prioritized over others since it has been upgraded.
However, it may get further delayed if you make any changes to the submission, which may cause it to get pushed down the queue or your nominations require an additional round of review to ensure they're not abusive. Please note that this also applies to an Upgraded nomination. For the time being, I would only request your patience as you should see the status change eventually.

@NianticGiffard I'm pretty sure that's not true. I just made changes to the titles and descriptions of two nominations, hit upgrade, and both went into voting within 5 minutes. I have made over 1,500 nominations and have used over 180 upgrades. The information in the quoted sentence is not consistent with user's experience of the system operates.
"Vote en Attente" appears to be the French equivalent for "In Queue". You said that the time required to receive "enough votes" may vary, but if it still says "In Queue" then it hasn't received a single vote. After being upgraded for months??
I believe you when you say that you looked into it and couldn't find an issue, but perhaps this means that the issue is not something which your tools are able to show and requires escalation. When us Wayfarers have had sometimes hundreds of upgrades we have used in our local areas, we become very aware of what the norms are, and when something differs from the norm drastically. It is very frustrating when we can recognise an issue on the user end, but when we report it we are told there's no problems.
As a reminder, these posters are saying that normally, upgrades in their local areas are decided upon within ~48 hours. I know that upgraded nominations still have the same criteria for acceptance of standard nominations, but these examples are clearly outliers that are not functioning in the way that upgrades normally function. And if your tools don't show anything abnormal, then we are concerned there is a bug which affects selected upgrades which cannot be revealed by your tools.
There is also a bug report filed by @HaramDingo-ING about photo submissions in specific areas seemingly being blocked from entering voting, and they have provided a detailed analysis of the issue. This post hasn't received any recognition from Niantic yet despite being a few weeks old. Is it possible for this issue to be escalated in any way?
My problem is identical @Tntnnbltn-ING it's been in vote pending for months with an improvement.@NianticGiffard it's anormal, I checked more than 30000 waypoint. I say when my proposal have a problem.

Just asking, how long are the waiting time for non-upgraded nominations to reach their decision in western part of France? (The regions which have Marine-pattern Vivillon instead of Meadow?)
