The key one to address is explaining why this restaurant is special, as it is a category that is difficult to get accepted.
leave out the @ symbol from the title. It’s not needed and some reviewers don’t like it. I would just call it The Boat House Restaurant so that it is clear from start.
I would take a photo of the name straight on with less of the “house”
In the description focus on the restaurant not the area. At the moment if this was in the game and I know nothing about the area I might have the impression this is a place a grab a coffee and go.
You say it is split in 2 but not what the significance is. Do the 2 areas offer a different dining experience. The word kiosk implies a small takeaway place so you need to explain that. How well established is the cafe.
In the supplementary tackle the issue of the fact it looks like a normal house. Is it easily seen on streetview?
Say you are submitting as a great place to socialise.
Thank you @Elijustrying-ING
Yes there are two parts to the boathouse. Restaurant on top and the Kiosk Cafe below. both social spots. Both great food and views. Open to all. Kiosk and Restaurant are same business.
Both are built on top of the Rose Bay Marian Wharf (and the main purpose of the building). The building fronts onto a wide pavement but 95% of it sits on pylons over the water.
Looks really good in street view - https://goo.gl/maps/aV9Lg7fyN2uZ2E7M8
And this 360 from inside shows the restaurant and out the window down to the kiosk https://goo.gl/maps/aHcXdzT3q7magv4B6
Totally get it. I was light on the details. Thanks
That looks fab.
I would emphasise that part about built on pylons over the sea - makes it highly unusual
Good Luck
My town has a restaurant, at a specific location.
Are you now dying to go there?
"It exists" is not one of the three criteria. They are: explore, socialize, exercise.
I just realised you may have thought that "inappropriate location" may have referred to 'the pin is incorrect' as you told the people to "Use Google street view". That would be "location mismatch" or "inaccurate location".
As HankWolfman stated and distinguished between the two:
Nothing wrong with the position of the pin. Just the actual nomination itself. And yes, it's better to remove "@". Did you know you can see other reject reasons just by refreshing Wayfarer and then navigating to the same nomination?
@HaramDingo-ING Thanks for the feedback.
Will no longer use the @. I get the location inappropriate -
Yes re the refresh. I discovered that recently. Gives a better insight. But at same time confuses me even more as to why people think some of the rejection criteria. But not everyone will take time to review all the information provided.
I hate the other reason. But as a reviewer I have had to use it.
Happy Friday
