Block nominations containing the words "kindergarten" and similar expressions

You already filter out some combinations and phrases containing "bad words" while trying to submit Wayspots. Why is it still possible to write Kindergarten / KiGa / Kindertagesstätte / KiTa. Nothing good will ever come out of it. Recently I have seen an influx of nominations with clearly ineligible K12 nominations. A text with the word "sponsored" will get instantly taken into Niantic review, but these ones do not? Where's the logic in that? Either you should block nominations when they contain these words or you should sent them straight to Nia review. A person who is submitting Kindergarten or locations within a Kindergarten has not read the criteria.

Didn't save a screenshot, but someone submitted a kindergarten with the title "Kita Robert-Kochplatz" in Hannover, Robert-Koch-Platz at approx. this location https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=52.363158,9.767877&z=21
Someone voiced concern that context matters. While actual kindergarten are clearly ineligible, some other Wayspots mentioning Kindergarten can be eligible. Yes, that's true and I don't know how to solve this issue.
But it's clear to me that people who submit Kindergarten don't understand the criteria at all. Maybe I should just start reporting every single one to the Help Chat
I realized a better option would probably be a little pop up while nominating: "You mentioned kindergarten, are you aware that nominations of and locations within kindergarten are forbidden?". Press "I understand" to proceed the nominations, "cancel" to re-think about the nomination. The whole idea is to filter out ineligible nominations before they ever see the light of day
Wow, you are having a lively conversation with yourself.
In your first post, first word, who are "You"? Do you think you're speaking directly to Niantic? You're not. Do you mean "you" as in, the whole universe? I don't filter anything.
You're seeing a local problem, and trying to make a global rule about it. We already have enough problems with globalized local rules. (By "we", I mean all Wayfarers. I don't think Niantic cares.)
What about "kindergarten" across all languages? What about historical markers about pre-schools?
It should be obvious who I'm talking to. And yes, I just wrote down my thought process what could be done to these kind of nominations. Maybe it's a local problem, but it's one which angers me a lot. Regarding your last paragraph, I already suggested an implementation which makes sure a Wayfinder can still submit eligible nominations. It's just an additional check while nominating

Wow - that is plenteous and obnoxious.
Now a school for minors
Rather than a solution not within Wayfarer, would be nice if it is blocked from queue and then require the nomination to be confirmed as that suggestion but from the contribs page itself. That also means they loose a submission due to the lack of awareness of the criteria.
The Problem will still be that there are things that are not "School" and not "Kindergarten" - But have that Title/Name in it.
We wouldnt able to submit a information sign that would be perfect as a wayspot (we DO have some "Old School" that are used for something else, they stopped beign a school 75 years ago AND we even have a little park that is on the ground of the old Kindergarten)
I think the best bet for things like this would be a mandatory screen during the submission workflow that says something like this:
(Note: Language is designed to illustrate the concept and is not carefully wordsmithed.)
Requiring that for all submissions would serve two purposes: It would filter out some of the obvious coal form the review queues and thus reduce the overall review workload, and also educate/remind submitters that these things aren't allowed. Doing this for all submissions gets around the need to look for specific words in the text and then make a possibly-incorrect decision about what to do if they're found.
I'm all for weeding out spam asap in the process. But, sometimes when I nominate, I'm standing in the sun, rain, or cold - and don't have a lot of leisure to see, read, answer.
The questions could be reduced by looking at a map. Maps are usually right, but can be wrong - so a question or two could clear it up. If the map says the area is residential - ask the residential question. OSM and Google give proximity to a school and emergency services, so ask whichever might apply. One question could be squeezed onto an existing screen.
I don't think these should be blocked either, though these clearly should pop up verification question. Additionally common watermark patterns (ones made to promote certain phone brand) should be detected, rejected and forward the submitter to some guide how to disable these watermarks in case they don't know how to do that
Let me join too!
Lots of examples lately. Hopefully they'll see the "K-12" rejection reason, and stop. (Head Start is a preschool program in the U.S.)
Agree.
What are these key words that you speak of?
Basically (german) keywords for kindergartens and elementary schools. Places where the Niantic AR games should not be used and therefore a clear rejection criteria. It just bugs me that there seem to be more nominations every week. I just hope some submitters learn that these places are not good Wayspots!
I recently nominated a plaque called First Kindergarten Class in Columbia. My town was started in 1969, and they followed the kids who went to the first Columbia Kindergarten, and also graduated from a local high school. It was evaluated by Niantic and approved. (And no one I knew was on the list...)
That's great! I mean it like this, when you nominate something containing one or more of these words, there should be a popup like "Are you nominating an actual kindergarten/school or something on one? Please note that these locations are ineligible and shouldn't be submitted!" I'm fine with everything else as long it is not something clearly ineligible.
