Wayspot with no information nor image
Title of the Wayspot: Azurém
Location: 41.45461170571634, -8.296677477931928
City: Guimarães
Country: Portugal
Photos to support your claim:
Above there are two screenshot of the current wayspot in Pokemon Go. This wayspot only appears in Pokemon GO and not in Ingress. The Title "Azurém" a civil parish in the municipality of Guimarães, and the location is in fact an accessible public soccer and basketball field as one can see in Google Maps:
However the title just states the parish name and the description and photo lacks any information.
My proposal:
First I propose the title to be changed to "Campo de Jogos de Azurém", which translates to: "Azurém's Games Field", since it's not just a soccer field but also a basketball field so it covers both. And in fact in Portugal we just call these places "Campo de Jogos" meaning "Games Field" and not just "Soccer Field" in this case.
Also I would like to propose the image to be one of following, I take these yesterday, because there was no one there playing, but just so you can check that is the same place, please visit this page:
It is the municipality page and on the top right corner you have the same field but with people playing.
The pictures I take:
Finally another change that should be made is that the location of the Wayspot is in the middle of the field, and I remember reading something that states that the location should be in an accessible spot. For Pokemon Go really not a problem (larger interaction radius) but for Ingress and other games it might be.
Screenshot of the game map showing the location of the wayspot:
So I propose to change the pin to 41.4548658176029, -8.296686391307873
That's the green arrow in the picture below. As you can see is near those stairs that are in fact the entrance to the public place, and that way it don't obstruct any activity, because is not in the middle of the field :D
If you need more information please contact me.
Best regards

The Wayspot in question got added via the PoGo Sync (only PoGo) of marked basketball courts in https://www.courtsoftheworld.com/map/ in preparation for the new Niantic NBA game.
The Wayspots just got implemented without checking for duplicates, or correct placement.
The title also got implemented from the Website.
Didn't knew that, anyway is weird to have a wayspot like that. Thanks for the information.
Thanks for the appeal, @eadgarc-PGO! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not require any adjustments at this time.
Thank you for your feedback, in that case and since this wayspot in no way possible can be placed under any acceptance criteria as stated by Niantic it self here:
"What should I consider when answering “Should this be a Wayspot?”
Considering the photo, title and description submitted in the nomination, does it seem like it would be a good Wayspot based on the criteria?
This is not an overall rating for the nomination."
By my understanding, with no photo, incorrect name and description, this is not a good wayspot and I'll ask for it's removal in-game.
Thanks
Unfortunately their 3rd party imports are bypassing their own criteria.
Idk if anyone can request POI edits or removal from Courts of the Worlds map, nor if the edits will affected into Lightship database.
Good point, today I'll go there and see if I can edit something or not.
EDIT:
I was able to request, in-game, edits for photo, title, description and location. Lets see if it goes on voting and if the community accepts them.
Right, you're supposed to add a photo and then fix whatever issues are with the title, description, location, all of which will be voted by fellow wayfarers.
I don't mind the work, in fact I've been doing it for a long time now and I really enjoy find and submit new wayspots for Niantic. It is fun and makes me appreciate the world around me. But it sometimes infuriates me and I feel that this type of incomplete wayspot should not exist in any game. Especially when we as reviewers and submitters are always asked to make sure everything meets the criteria, and then this sloppy updates/imports appear out of nowhere and apparently "the Wayspot in question ... does not require any adjustments at this time." in the words of @NianticLC but is completely inaccurate compared to what it represents in real life.
That's great. If you could also correct the info in that courts of the world website then it would be perfect!
Good idea, will do :D
Apparently the community don't feel the same way as Niantic does. And guess what my photo submission, for a wayspot with no photo, was accepted. Who would say? I also requested a title and location change, lets see what the community as to say.
