@NianticLC New Bug? They Mail says my Request got accepted. But nothing happened. The Duplicate is still there. Pls fix this Bug.

Thanks for reporting this. I see that we have already taken the necessary action to remove this Wayspot. Looks like there is a sync issue that is not allowing these changes to reflect live. I have escalated this internally to our concerned team for their analysis.

Thanks, because this doesn't just affect this one Wayspot report, but absolutely every one. Even edits are not synced properly. Not even what is reported here in the forum. You say you've done something, but the game is still the same!
