@NianticOtoStar@NianticLC it appears that not only the Wayspots are being moved from their valid location where they existed in for years (as this is the genuine real-life location), but they are marking them by changing the name to tick off the ones that have been moved to another S-cell.
The actual location of the Wayspot can be seen on Satellite view and is currently in the correct place. The attempt is to move it to a different S12 cell.
Can you please ensure that Wayfarer is educated? This is breaking the purpose of the exploration of the game when Wayspots are not in correct places and diminish value of any scan if the object to scan is not physically there.

The current location is valid - the picture clearly shows that this Wayspot is on the fence that can be seen in satellite picture. The Wayspot does not meet acceptance criteria, but that's completely different matter (in this village most of the Wayspots do not meet it either).

After a few weeks of inactivity, the issue re-occurs - the Wayspots are again being moved more than 10 meters from their valid location to another S12 cell.
As per StreetView https://goo.gl/maps/KNHTT7rZFJCyxQLG8 you can see that the current location is the more accurate one as it's on the verge of these (mass produced, privately operated, currently-not-functional) bicycle stands. The proposed location is further away from the actual location and in a different S12 cell.
