Beautiful is subjective, sometimes there are nominations that are quite good-looking here but followed by bad presentation, making its value dropped significantly.
There is just so much coal...... It would be nice if Niantic took this opportunity to post something in Indonesian to help educate the locals on how to take a good waypoint photo.
Ah, no! I've seen plenty of beautiful nominations, I just didn't see this thread in time! I've been mainly sharing them on Discord. I'll look for my past messages and see what I can share here.
I agree that there are quite a lot of beautiful POIs that were just poorly presented, but, well, what can ya do.
I've seen some interesting buildings and statues and a lot of nice things already added.
For every one of those I see two of these
I really love all the bright colors that the buildings are painted!
A memorial in N. Sumatra for me claiming to be for a public figure. Tried googling the name but did not match anything, still cool and intricate architecture.
A collection of some favorites from throughout the challenge's duration -
North Sumatra is underrepresented in that collection - it was probably my favorite area to review in, but the nomination photos weren't always the best.
