I've been trying to get this pokestop removed for a while, but it's been rejected because I am not the property owner. I can't even get close enough to the pokestop to report it via the stop itself, because of where it is located.
While it is a "church" the location is NOT a church/place of worship, it is a business HQ that is NOT accessible to the public. the closest you can get is a parking lot for a grocery store. my photos from the parking lot are zoomed in. There is a gated entrance with a private property warning, and the location is surrounded by a highway and other private property on the other side, so there is physically no way to get to this location unless you are the business owner.
** the houses on the other side are also owned by this church and have gated driveways, so while it looks like they might be a way to access, they aren't.

Comments
Private property is not grounds for removal. It's only private residential property (in other words, a single family dwelling) that is grounds for removal. Not all wayspots have to be accessible by everyone all of the time. This is still perfectly accessible by people who work for the church and their guests. So Niantic are unlikely to remove it.
Why on earth would you care that much to want a pokestop you can't get to to be removed? Maybe understand the frustration if it's a gym or a portal....but really...this POI is clearly accessible to people who will visit the church, and is not a private residence as hank stated above.
Thanks for the appeal, @laeryne-PGO! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
