Systemic abuse of third-party photos in an area
The Donum Estate is a winery near Sonoma California. They have an extensive and well-documented collection of world-class artwork on the estate. Unfortunately, someone is taking advantage of that documentation to populate the estate with wayspots that use third-party photos.
I've reviewed several and rejected them for third-party photos, and a couple got past me before I figured it out. All of the images I've reviewed have been original or cropped versions from the ones that are available at this website. There are currently 15 portals live on the estate, 100% with third-party photos, and I've reviewed six more in the last few days... that's roughly half of the art on the estate, so I'm sure there's a lot more to come. As an example, here is an Ingress Intel link to Zodiac Heads by Ai Weiwei.
I reported this to support several days ago along with an extensive list of the ones that I knew of at the time. Since support isn't responding is there a way to expedite the cleanup of this?

I just got two more back-to-back. One was Held by Desire, and the other (screenshot below) is Composition with Long Verticals. The links go to the detailed pages for the sculptures.

I have noticed a lot more 3rd party photos in reviewing as well. I don't recall this specific location but it's definitely a problem.
Hi @Hosette-ING! We have reviewed the report and have taken action on 18 Wayspots, 11 Nominations, and the Wayfinder in accordance with our policies. While we are unable to discuss our actions in detail to protect the submitter’s privacy, they may include, but are not limited to, sending a warning message, placing restrictions on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO, or Ingress account, putting their account on probation, or placing a temporary or permanent suspension on their Wayfarer, Pokémon GO or Ingress account.
Thanks for helping us maintain the quality of the Wayspots.
Lots and lots in France. But very few reviewers care to inspect a picture. Apparently if it’s of an object that exists in real life they’ll accept it. Reporting a waypoint with a third party photo just gets the photo removed and waypoint stays in place. Despite the fact it should never have been accepted. But just because streetview shows the waypoint doesn’t mean it still exists. It could have been removed - playgrounds for example - yet people still readily accept them and it’s not just the people looking for it either. Because someone can just upload a real picture of the waypoint. Maybe just maybe the person submitting the nomination should give that a try going there and taking the picture to begin with. Many just take advantage of the streetview being out of date and submit things they no longer exist using a similar or picture of the actual item from the internet. Or no streetview at all which makes it impossible to know something actually exists in the first place.
@PeteC303-ING In this case the wayspots themselves are exquisitely high-quality ones in terms of the subjects. When California gets done with having atmospheric rivers I will probably go up for a tour and submit a bunch of photos.
