Am I allowed to start a Spanish Speaking thread?

I read the community guidelines and wouldn't like to engage in unwelcoming behavior.
The reason I would like to start a thread in Spanish is to promote the activity among the Spanish-speaking community, clear doubts and offer help. Basically I want to be the change I would like to see, however, I know that depending on the forum, this may or may not be a welcome addition as it may become more complicated to moderate.
I understand that with the advancement of technology it is relatively easy to use translators, however, many times users are looking for the support and closeness of knowing that there is a person with whom we can identify.
Thank you in advance for your consideration, after reading your opinions I will proceed (or not) to create such a thread.

Hola!
With many devices having built in translation, I don’t see it being an issue to post in Spanish in any thread. Don’t feel you should be limited.
Now, my doubt is focused on making it a centralized point. That is to say, to encourage that the doubts and other questions that users may have can be directed there, and we can all help each other.
I understand that there are already individual threads, but due to the fact that sometimes there is little response, they tend to get lost. In this way, Spanish-speaking users could resort to that particular thread as a meeting point.
Will that be a good idea, or will it look like I'm trying to monopolize an entire community?
As a general user who doesn't speak Spanish I think you should have somewhere to discuss, ask questions.
It would be odd for a global company like Niantic to not want that.
It seems that the idea is well-supported.
Now, I hope not to find out that there really weren't that many Spanish-speaking players. 😅
Thank you all for your insight!
I hope to be able to create the thread during this week. 😎
You can just create any threads in Spanish, but be expected that not everyone here can speak Spanish. In other words...,
Kenapa tidak?
I gotta agree with this - anyone can create a thread in whatever language, as far as I know, but no one except Naintic staffers can enforce that only a specific language is spoken. Like the United States, Wayfarer has no official language: it's wonderful to hear perspectives across the globe, but most use interpretive tools to read posts in any language and then they respond in their language of preference. That's good, I think. I enjoy different perspectives on what we do here.
Any language in particular is acceptable.
Currently, there are highly accurate translation applications such as DeepL.
Therefore, while it is not certain that the detailed nuances of the native language will be conveyed, 80% to 90% of the information will be conveyed correctly.
In fact, the same is true for me.
Even beyond language, there is also the particular aspect of the idiosyncrasy of each culture.
As an example, in my city religious altars to the Virgin Mary are very prevalent and these are usually on the outside of private homes, along with some other aspects that are not quite the same as they are in cities in the United States, for example, so while the words may be translated correctly, the cultural context may be misinterpreted or lost.
(Sorry if this gets posted thrice) something seems to be wrong with my device!
