Would like to get some feedback from people in here, how to improve this and why, in your opinion, this was rejected. Thanks.
P.S. Cell is empty, with no schools, no emergency services etc. in close proximity, easy pedestrian access. Is it a photo quality ?

It’s not an eligible subject.
The TL;DR is that Post Boxes are not eligible, the royal seals on the boxes are eligible. The seals of Elizabeth II are too common to meet criteria.

As a general rule, postboxes aren't eligible on a global level. However, there is an argument that was made for some of the older British ones as they have a sort of protected status, are no longer produced, have some historic and cultural value, and are typically much less common than Elizabeth II postboxes. They're commonly debated with regards to their eligibility.
Generally speaking, Victoria, Edward VII and Edward VIII postboxes are accepted as they're the rarest, and in the case of Victorian ones they're also the oldest. George V and VI ones are more common and some reviewers will reject them, but others will accept them. The one thing that is nearly universally agreed on though is that Elizabeth II ones are not eligible. There's no real way to tell if the postbox was installed in 1952 or 2022 unless you really know how to check, and they consist of at least 60% of all postboxes, so they're by far the most common and mass produced of all postboxes. Only ones that were painted gold due to the London Olympics are considered an exception to this.
So your postbox was correctly rejected for being generic.

So put that submission down to experience. But who needs a postbox.
Having has a quick look on Streetview there are other potential wayspots. I don’t know the date of streetview so it is possible these don’t exist but hopefully it will give ideas.

There is only space for 1 of these to appear in Pokémon Go. But a good photograph an interesting title and description should be good. Encourage exploration
across the road and in a different cell there is the martial arts place

Alternatively the building is Broadway Hall
You could maybe dig out some history
its a shame the cinemas on Broadway is boarded up. See if there a date plaque or something on the classic 1920s shop on broadway - another possible bit of history to dig up.
And there is a community notice board by the looks of it near Lloyds bank
