More 500 city wayspot were removed.

Good day to all who have read. Yesterday afternoon, more than half of the city portals were removed, more than 500. At the same time, the other portals in another part of the city have not gone anywhere. What is the problem and how to fix it? This is not a single portal, physically appealing such a huge amount is unrealistic. The portals are all real and meet the requirements. I need help. The Wayspots are still visible in the Lightship database, so it appears to be an action from the Ingress team. Donetsk, Ukraine

And today, according to eyewitnesses, waypoints in the Crimea were also hidden. But at the same time, games from the Niantic company are successfully working there. Only without pokestops, gims and portals.
Try asking GO players, is the game can be played "normally" even without Pokestops (i.e. catching Pokemon either in the wild—if Pokemon are still spawning, ofc—or from incenses, remote raid invitations, PvP, etc.)?
I didn't see any official Niantic statement regarding about this yet, and that's it.
ALL waypoints have disappeared in Crimea. But the game works and makes it possible to charge non-Crimean portals. What's happening??
Maybe they're blanking things out because of the war?
Maybe Russian gamers complained about their blackout, and Niantic compromised by blacking out part of Ukraine as well.
Or, maybe the map they're using to define Russia (and exclude play there) has been corrupted. Maybe it now says those areas are Russian.

Sorry, but why did you just came to look if the issue has been resolved? Shouldn't you explain to the players what was happened in their region?
