Additional information:
I requested the invalidation of the two PokéStops below and am grateful that it was granted.
(1) '황금온천'(Golden Hot Spring) (37.491668,127.025053)
(2) '여우 세마리' (Three Foxes) (37.491841,127.0257)
Although it was cited for safety reasons along with the closure of the business, I am concerned that many local elementary school children will lose interest in the game Pokemon Go due to the invalidity of the gyms.
One thing I would like to ask for is that when re-selecting a gym, consider a safe place such as a plaza or park as a top priority. It is up to 'Niantic' to decide what criteria the gyms will be re-selected, but we recommend the following candidates as gyms to replace invalidated stops in the same area. Both PokéStops are proud to be spaces where children can enjoy Pokemon Go in a safer and wider area.
Candidate 1) '서초 그랑자이 스퀘어' (Seocho Grand Xi Square) (37.488746,127.02738)
Candidate 2) '엘리시안 야드' (Elysian Yard) (37.489124,127.026157)
For reference, the following is a summary of what I thought when requesting to invalidate two Pokestops.
○ Abandoned buildings, demolished sculptures
'Golden Hot Spring' was a public bath in the past, and it has already been close to 3 years since it closed. 'Three Foxes' is also a sculpture that disappeared when the building where the 'Golden Hot Spring' was located was reconstructed. If you look at the picture in the PokéStop, you can see that it has not been updated since it was taken '9 years ago', and that 'Golden Hot Spring' and 'Three Foxes' do not exist on Google Maps.
○ School zone area next to elementary school (K-12) building
There is an elementary school right across the crosswalk from the two Pokéstops, 'Golden Hot Spring' and 'Three Foxes'. This section is designated as a 'school zone area' and is an area with a high possibility of traffic accidents involving children.
Since 'Golden Hot Spring' was designated as a gym in Pokemon Go,
Countless elementary school children leave school and run across the crosswalk while looking at their smartphones to participate in a raid battle. You can see many students jaywalking, even breaking the traffic lights to meet the raid time. In particular, vehicles for picking up children during school hours and children get tangled, leading to frequent traffic accidents.
Recently, 'Three Foxes', a PokeStop right next to the PokéStop 'Golden Hot Spring', has also been designated as a gym, so more children ignoring traffic signals and jaywalking are expected to occur more frequently.

Comments
They (Wayfarer team) can't control which Pokestops should be promoted into Gyms. They can't ask Pokemon GO team to control it either since the Gyms promotion selection are quite random.
The best thing you can do is to
spam likes in the photos of the Wayspotsadd categorization to the Wayspots so they have better chance to be upgraded to Gyms.thanks for the nice answer
thanks for the nice answer In fact, even though the gym that was abandoned this time has long since disappeared, I think it needs some improvement because it was selected because some high-level users' favorite PokéStops were selected because of the concentration of 'likes'.
Thanks for the appeal, @greete97-PGO! After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspots in question.
