Happy first day of Spring everyone. On the Wayfarer 2023 Roadmap: Milestones and Time, they put for Winter 2023 “Increase Wayspot decision velocity”. Winter is now over, and we have not heard any updates about this yet. I will understand if Niantic was not able to complete this yet, but we need some type of update about what is going on.

Personally, I see my own submission queue shrinking faster than ever.
And I submit in an area where review takes at least a year, but now getting randomly wayspots returned within half a year, which is a huge increase. So it is going faster, maybe you are already not in such a slow area?
There was a period in January where my new nominations were getting accepted with 2-3 days without an upgrade, which is definitely not the normal. For me, the normal is 3-6 months. I have been getting luckier in the past six months where some have been getting accepted in a month.
It is definitely way better than it used to be, but for most of the increase of speed, I noticed them before Niantic announced them the Roadmap for 2023. I imagine the increase speed is not fully done yet, and I am excited to see what we should expect as the new normal moving forward.
Well there is also a big backlog that should be fixed so the speed up will not be direct, however, it is good that some speedup is noticeable
I just wonder what "Increase Wayspot decision velocity" truly means. Does it means less decisions are needed for a nomination to reach a decision? Without full context of what that means, I am not sure exactly what is going to happen.

I agree. Maybe, they can give us a small indicator of what means, but I doubt it.
@NianticTintino Can you please provide us with an update? The roadmap for Winter 2023 was supposed to be completed by now, and we still have not received any update or official post about it. This is a reason why people get frustrated with the Roadmaps, because we never receive any further updates in regards to the process of the objectives.
