One Nomination, Upgraded Thrice

A single submission of mine appears to have managed to use multiple upgrades.
At first, I had two upgrades saved up, and listed my submission as “upgrade next”. After a few hours, it was listed as “upgraded” before even getting into voting, taking one of my two saved upgrades. All fine there, I suppose, surely it’ll say “In Voting” soon, right?
But then, more recently it had both “Upgraded” and “Upgrade next” text (indicating it somehow both used an upgrade and was also going to use my other saved one), though still “In Queue”. I managed to earn another upgrade today, and as soon as I did, instead of having two available upgrades again, I, for some reason, have none, and it is now only “Upgraded” again. Since it’s been an hour and the Upgrades Available is still 0, I can only assume it took both my newer upgrade and my saved one at once, IN ADDITION to the one it properly used initially.
Said potential waypoint is still “In Queue” despite eating three upgrades within a day. I’ve never had this problem before. Included is a screenshot of last night, about an hour ago, and my zero upgrades. Up in the corner you can see my meter fill up to where it was supposed to give me another upgrade.

I doubt this is relevant, as it’s likely a website issue, but my OS is iOS.
I unfortunately don’t have screenshots proving my accurate amount of upgrades available at the time submitted before being used, but I obviously didn’t expect there would be an issue when I first nominated. I only had the first screenshot of multiple upgrade texts because it had never happened before and felt noteworthily odd.
Notably, looking into my submitted POIs DOES reflect that I have 11 Upgraded Nominations total, but 13 Upgrades Redeemed as per the last screenshot.

Thank you for bringing this to our notice.
We are looking into this issue as we speak. Having said that, I have refunded the two additional upgrades that the nomination in question had consumed. You should be able to see it in your Wayfarer profile.
