not receiving wayspots for review

I've completed the examples about 2 weeks ago now.
When I tap on review, it says "all done for now"

Have you set your home and bonus locations yet? I suggest setting both of them fairly far from where you live if you haven't set them yet (bearing in mind your home location cannot normally be changed after you set it), as you should also receive reviews from the general area you play in (note that all 3 of these areas are quite large, hence why you want them to be far enough apart).
You can set them by logging into Wayfarer and going to the settings page here:

There are no restrictions or cool-downs on your account. You might have reviewed all the in-voting nominations from your hometown, bonus location and active play area.

Maybe wayfarer is not registering your location. When you look at your showcase tab, do you see the Tokyo spider and USA bow & arrow? If so then either wayfarer doesn't know where you are or nothing has been approved within 100 or so miles in the past couple weeks. The best way to reset play location is to log in/ create an ingress account and hack a portal. Then log out of wayfarer and back in again. If the showcase is showing things from your relative region then location is fixed.
