Apart from appeal is there anything I can do about this?
The only thing I would've done differently is include a link to a website about the trail, but that seems like a perfectly acceptable submission as is.
I should have. I didn't consider it as it's one of Scotland's Great Trails and figured it would be well known enough.
Sigh, some wayfinders in the U.K. just don’t like trail markers. It should have been straightforward and not only do you loose an acceptable nomination but others that voted to accept miss out.
Gullane is lovely.
Can you let me know if you appeal it please - tell me the date and time and if it has gone through within 5 days or not.
Will do, I think it resets soon ™
The last one here was difficult to get a clean picture of with being high up. I'm not hopeful on any of these three now :D
Do you know what the butterfly? symbols are on the marker?
I couldn't find any reason through a search.
I’ve had a look and even asked some family, but nobody knows. The best we can think of is that it might be something to do with the Aberlady Bay local nature reserve.
Thanks. That would make sense.
Appealed 5th May 10am :)
Crappy picture one went through. Do reviewers see the others as direction markers?
so it only took just over an hour. Congrats
It looks like that is also in a fast flow area as well.
I expect to be able to follow the trail just by using Pokémon Go
Sorry, the accepted one with the not so great picture was separate from the original rejection.
One accepted, two still in voting
Even had a street view
Nice set of accepts.
Thanks, I'd prefer not to use an appeal on one that was similar to two of those though.
The game of Russian roulette with trail markers is annoying.
Have you been visiting Edinburgh
:D I have, it's not going to show up for me though.
i saw it was lightship only …..a good way to keep a TARDIS hidden 😎
PS that was the real giveaway😂
I might have had some free time today :D
Still have one on Rose Street, one by the Usher Hall and one near Canonmills then that should be all of them :D
Good stuff 👍
