Cool stuff from Malaga and some nature trails in Asturias. Kudos to that Wayfarer, an S2 L16 area worth of blank canvas!
Saw a cool statue one but it was in the center of a busy roundabout with no crosswalk. :(
After dozens of evaluations, I am surprised by the pretty good quality of the proposal compared to Indonesia. Pitches, mosaics, sculptures, restaurants... Pretty cool submissions.
The mural ones that are on the pull down doors for the shops are hard to prove unless the business sign is obvious. Google doesn't drive around at night and photograph the closed shops for street view. But I've seen that a few of them were also just misplaced duplicates.
Can someone help me with map reading? How can I tell if something is at a K-12 (or under)? What's the words to look for?

I experienced a new country for me. It had all sorts of colourful pictures on walls, thirstquenching fountains in hot parks and interesting things attached at private family homes.
Maybe day 2 will show me some of the Points of Interest of Spain! Looking forward to it.
In general, many submitters like to have their wayspots in creative places, maybe so that they can bring them closer to their playing area one day?

I too am enjoying some great creative artwork.
This is a nice example, review-wise. OP told a brief summary of it, added and mentioned stuff that is helpful for the reviewer to cross-reference in the supporting. Small snitch of the shadow, it isn't enough to identify the submitter from itself.
Hi, it was rejected because it was a "bad photo". At the moment to take the photo it was completely impossible to get a better one. Is sad that I'm not able to submit it again because it's located in a different city.
I have gotten 11 Spain submissions and approved 1. Did you get the "Tetris" building? What?
This was one of the most interesting ones I saw, reminded me of Village Of The Damned, Children Of The Corn, or something equally creepy lol 😛 It is on a large roundabout and the whole thing is also a Yin and Yang symbol, so it's especially visually unique!
I was very much torn between my "global" understanding of the criteria and the cultural aspect of roundabouts apparently being considered safe pedestrian access there. It seems plausible in some areas, particularly compared with large centre median parkland/greenbelt areas (with picnic tables, etc) we have in my area being considered the same. Urban trails in regional cities also often cross roads without marked pedestrian crossings or right-of-way, which wouldn't invalidate the trail markers.
In hindsight, I probably would have rated it higher had I thought about that a little more at the time.
I'd be curious to know where the approval/rejection ratio is sitting, because I'm not sure if I was being too harsh or not harsh enough compared with the rest of the participants, but my rating went from a previously permanent "great" to "fair" within just a couple hours, which is kinda lame 😒
