The Global Reviewer Challenge in Spain is here and we’re incredibly excited to see some awesome Spain nominations. If you come across a nomination you particularly like, feel free to share it here! Also check out this excellent thread about the wayspot specificities in Spain, such as the pelota courts (frontón) or Water faces!
Some quick reminders:

- End Time - June 7, 2023 at 11:59pm UTC
- Wayfarer Challenge Setting
- Automatically set to ON and you will see a higher percentage of nominations compared to previous challenges only using Bonus Location.
- If you wish to take a break from the Challenge, you can turn off the setting in your Settings page.
- Rewards
- For the first time ever, we will have both Community and Individual rewards!
- Check out the different reward tiers here.
- Reward distribution will begin June 8, 2023 - June 21, 2023
- Game rewards will come via an email and Wayfarer rewards will be automatically sent to your account.
And lastly, an exciting announcement that our Challenge Banner is back (in English only 😥)! You will be able to see the Challenge Banner on your Showcase page when you first go to the Wayfarer website and it will update on an hourly basis. We heard your feedback about being able to track your individual review progress however that unfortunately did not make it into this challenge.

El reto se enfoca en revisar de España pero si prefieres puedes apagar el reto y cambiar tu Bonus Location para revisar de otras areas.
If your country gets a challenge wouldn't be nice if people from other countries joined? Of course.
Will I ever visit Spain? Probably not but I will get my upgrades and that is worthwhile for me.

Well we've accomplished tier 3 community rewards in 10 or 11 hours. Pretty good if I say so myself. I've got at least another full day of reviewing to get my 500 though. Somewhere around 250 Spain for me today. I lost count of how many locals I had.
@NianticTintino-ING can you at least announce how many participants joining this challenge daily? Both local and foreign?
Just need to know how many accounts among of 5000+ accounts that picked Spain during the voting will actually participate in this challenge.

What cities can we choose? I can't seem to find a list of that.
@jokeinsurance-PGO you don't need to choose a city. If you have the Wayfarer Challenge setting enabled a majority of the nominations you get presented to review will be from Spain.
Everybody picked Spain by default
Of those, how many have completed 50 reviews minimum from Spain might be the question.
Community Tier 3 crossed already!! we should have this monthly and rotate it in every country. will clear lot of backlog. Incentives for this challenge are Good!
Also, please try to integrate auto translation within the review system.
Can you block anyone from reviewing that has their 500 already? Day two of the challenge, and I am just watching the balloon bounce trying to find me a review from Spain, then loading something local.
I agree. The people from Spain need to submit heavily. I'm running out of nominations too.
I still have 10 nominations in queue and 5 in voting, maybe later I'll submit more
@NianticTintino-ING just a clarification: If I set my bonus location to Spain while opted out, will it still count towards the challenge reviews?
I'm not sure what the Spain back log is now, but Monday morning if we have cleared it, is it possible to throw us into the #2 voted challenge pool as well? What was that one? Italy?
I still have around 100 pending nominations, either in voting or in queue. Some of them have been waiting for more than a year. Believe me, there’s still plenty to do.

What is the total nominations from Spain that are in voting and in queue before the event, I wonder? Can the challenge conclude with all nominations posted before the event decided?
I've just been told to 'swing back later for more reviews'. I don't think I've been reviewing too quickly or anything, I just broke for lunch and thought I'd do some. Surely there are other wayspots to review?
I would love to clear them. But, the balloon is bouncing a long time and I'm about 30 percent Spain nominations now. Yesterday I was almost 95% Spain.
Here too. Yesterday I got 80% Spain on 115 reviews, today only 2 out of 9. Not really motivating to get on reviewing if I still need around 500 reviews with an 80% Spain rate…
