Wayfarer Add-ons to Track Personal Challenge Progress

By installing/updating these add-ons, you will be able to track how many reviews you've personally completed within the challenge area. Please update/install Open-In, Review History IDB, and Review Counter to get these changes.
You will need all 3 in order for this to properly work
Reviews completed prior to this update as well as all following reviews completed before the challenge end time will be counted based on determining if the location of the review is within Spain or its outlying areas.

I agree that these stats should be easy for Niantic to put on the Wayfarer pages. Also total number of agreements on the profile page, and number of nominations in each state (In Queue, In Voting, etc) on the Contributions page.
Would be great if Niantic updated our profiles with something like this. Thx for the add-ons, but definitely skipping them, can't trust a random geezer in a forum these days.

All those scripts are available in source code. If you don't trust other people, have a look and check the scripts by yourself.
"Ambasador" or not, as long as it doesn't come from the source and is implemented in wayfarer profile itself, people will skip it, so we'll have to agree to disagree who people should trust or not.
niantic had hoped to have this ready but wasn't able to complete the work in time.
like many other aspects of the Wayfarer website that are lacking features that people want and need, a third party add-on was able to quickly fill that need.
no one's forcing you or anyone else you use them, but if you want a mostly accurate personal counter here it is. it's much more tedious to keep track by hand but that's your decision to make.
Awesome, we agreed to disagree. And I don't really care about the count - if I make it to 500, happy days, if not, well, I know for a fact I will be above 250.
P.S. "niantic had hoped to have this ready but wasn't able to complete the work in time" didn't even surprise me. That's how they operate. I guess, they will do a make up event and if that fails they'll do make up event for a make up event 👌
I just want to say that long before tehstone became an Ambassador, he was making add-ons available to people that seriously enhance the WF experience. I have installed every single one that "trusted" members of the WF community have endorsed with no repercussions. Because of these add-ons, I've got tools that make it 10x easier to plan and manage my submissions and live POI. I understand having a healthy skepticism. But not everyone is out to get you.
Niantic should be giving us Spain Challenge credit for EVERY SINGLE REVIEW WE DO when we have the Spain Challenge Review button activated. If Niantic can’t provide us with a personal Spain counter and they can’t even provide us will 100% Spain submissions, this is the only fair way for a reviewer to keep track of their participation. @tehstone-ING @SeaprincessHNB-PGO

Wayfarer is not something that I spend a lot free time doing. For you, it's clearly the other way around, as you've decided to jump in as an ambassador, so it became a part of your daily routine.
I don't care about random plugins/add-ons. If they help you do what you need to do here, you crack on. Furthermore, I completely agree that "not everyone is to get me", but we are talking about niantic - they can't do a single event without messing smth up (yes, they've messed up this reviewing event as well, if you haven't noticed), so when it comes to anything related to them it's a hard pass from me.

So is the use of third party scripts being condoned by Niantic? Why after so many years of these being available (since Wayfarer Plus) have none of these been implemented officially? Just the "open in" links and the google translate buttons would be simple coding and greatly improve wayfarers experience. The nominations history and map are also very useful. I dont see how these could be considered to encourage any kind of abuse.
I havent used any of the addons that track your reviews since Wyayfarer Plus stopped working but they too were incredibly useful, especially as a learning tool. It would be great, for new reviewers especially, to look back at your review history and see how you voted and what the final decision was to learn where you disagree with the community.
My day job involves process improvement and gaining efficiencies. So it leaves me scratching my head for someone to say "I don't spend much time doing this, so I want to make it as hard and inefficient possible." These tools make the process easier so you can do more in less time. But you do you, chief. I'll keep finding ways to save myself time and effort.
I will do, thanks. I've got everything that I need to review nominations and to submit them without any issues 👍️ And for the time that I spend doing wayfarer, since I've stopped doing it completely, unless I need upgrades or, in this case, free in-game items that will benefit me there, it's enough.

Step 1: Install Tampermonkey - if you use PC.
if you use phone - forget :)

On Android install Kiwi browser. It supports extensions like Tampermonkey.
On iPhone - no idea.

not officially, no. but they're aware that exist and haven't asked for them to be taken down. that's all I can say.

well, maybe someday some of it will. I've pushed for it. for a while I think they were unaware of what was being added and how useful it was. it's still unclear just how many people use any of the add ons.
There have been scripts available for reviewers since the early opr days, way back before wayfarer plus.
Will there be any update for other countries?
There is. Go to Wayfarer tools website and update Revier Counter plugin.
This counter has been working great, but it seems to have stopped counting Brazilian nominations for last 10+ reviews. I got the newest version installed. Am I missing anything?

Thanks to whoever authored these plugins. The code seems to have Brazil counters included but for whatever reason they're not getting added to my current total. Any update would be appreciated! Cheers.
Edit: only just realised I can hover over the total and see the breakdown by country. Nice!
EDIT2: I just realised I had only updated the counter part and not the other essential elements. Counter now working properly. Thank you!
Well, I tried this and A) it didn’t back count old nominations, B) I got an error when trying to review anything, and C) it crashed wayfarer and when I logged back in I got only a white screen…
