Thanks for posting here. You will see other threads here where we have worked to help either improve or find alternatives.

We still need to see for each what the reviewers saw. So main and supplementary photos. Title, description and supplementary text. And location.

Are you aware of the rules for selecting what is taken into pokemon go?

    First comments

Remember people have to review within guideline of there being something great to exercise, soccialise or explore.

I see you have appealed the chill out area. First there are people in the photo. On the screenshot they are not that clearly defined but you may find that the photo causes it to be rejected. I need to see how you described it because I can guess what it is but there is little tangible in the photo.

The bar may be ok it just might need presenting in a better way.

Restaurants are difficult so it might be worth improving or finding something else.

Once we know where we are looking we can start to see if there are other strong candidates.

I agree with @Elijustrying-ING also working on local significance & uniqueness as well in the description or supplementary information will help reviewers accept your requests.

The supplemental information should be used to explain why it’s a good nomination, not explain why people need a pokestop there. It will be used for other graves as well. Also don’t use the word Pokémon in description at all it is an automatic rejection in most people’s minds. Don’t forget the original reviewers weren’t even Pokémon players, they were ingress players.

As presented, none of your nominations appear to meet the eligibility criteria. Could the restaurant meet the eligibility criteria? It could, but not all restaurants are social gathering locations and you need to show why this is one. A restaurant may also meet the criteria if it serves cuisine that is locally unique, so you will have to convince me that this is the only or most popular Chinese restaurant in the city. Bars are also not automatically assumed to be social gathering locations and many prohibit underaged individuals from entering and would therefore fall under the adult-oriented rejection criteria. As for your "chill out area", all I see is a random dirt lot with no distinguishing features that would indicate that it meets any of the criteria. And finally, don't make game references in your description and they are also not helpful in your supporting information. Wayspots are used in multiple games therefore the descriptions should be game agnostic. I mean, what would you think if you came across a "Pokestop" that mentions Shapers, Exotic Matter, ADA, or 13Magnus in its description?

You wrote game specific language in almost all of those submissions. Technically, that's OK in the supplemental info but it is absolutely not appropriate in the Description. Do not mention any words like Trainer, Pokemon, Spin, etc. These POI will be used in multiple games, so they shouldn't reference any one game.

    Thanks

Part of what has happened here is that Niantic have not communicated well to explain the whole process. The language used in making a submission from Pokémon Go is all about pokestops so it is not surprising that you are under the impression that is what you are doing.

But it’s not. It’s a multi step process.

Because the review process is checking to see if meets criteria and it is later that it might be selected for Pokemon Go the wording needs to be about the place or object and not any game.

The Golden City would be difficult. I would say that going to a restaurant of this type is not about eating but very much about socialising. However for restaurants you need to say why this one is worth going to. So try and find out a little more - is it a family run business , how long has it been operating for is it regarded as one of the best Chinese restaurants in Alicante. The supplementary can then give weblinks to anything that backs this up. Google maps says top rated …..so see what evidence there is. A main photo that zooms in on the logo above wine might work better

Just to give you an idea

The bar should be fine in principle. Again a photo of the name might help with reflections. Is it a typical bar with food being served a place to meet and socialise etc

    Chill out zone.

I’m not clear where this is. There are certainly some interesting looking areas along that road, but we would need to see more to help.

he confirmation email just marks the end of the wayfarer process and the acceptance into the Lightship database. There is no communication about the next step as to whether it will be selected into
