nomination in voting (upgraded) for 17 days now. Can’t you guys just go ahead and approve the nomination? It’s a mural on a college campus for goodness sakes.
I decided to see if using a new upgrade would work, and if was just the existing ones that were stuck. It had been submitted a week ago and i was waiting for a solution. Once upgraded, it sat in queue for a few days. And then today, I found that another nomination for the same place had just been accepted (and they'd nominated it in an awkward spot that puts it in an existing cell so it won't even appear in pogo). So that's two upgrades wasted to this issue, one stop now irrevocably ruined from being renominated, and still no updates from Niantic in a week. This is great.
One of my upgrades that had been upgraded for FOUR WEEKS finally went through. Even better, an upgrade finally went through for a community garden in a large public park which is visible via maps and street view and it was denied for being a private residence. Absolutely amazing. Four weeks of delay for a waste by Wayfarers that won't put any effort in to nominations which aren't in Spain.
I really wish they would consider allowing 2 stops per cell in pogo. I think that wouldn't be too unreasonable for the space of the cell. It would really help rural and semi-rural areas to have more stops. And seems like that most of the time, it just one more stop, barely within another cell (so many just on the artibary line) or small parks, store areas etc. - where allowing 2 could solve a lot of disappointments and wasted effort. And stop location edit requests that some seem to hate because it's "manipulation" (meanwhile other parts of the world still benefit from the true abuse of like 50 stops in one small park or up and down one street).
There has been no further update on this other than the info at the start. As someone who relies on upgrades I do want this resolved quickly as I realise how frustrating the whole situation is. The team were busy yesterday sorting out the challenge change so I will raise again.
The question is, are these upgrades resolving because the problem is veing fixed, or just because they got enough votes through the regular voting system? Because I don't want to waste a third upgrade unless I know it's actually going to work this time.
Small reminder, with Indonesia being not popular for reviewing things slow down a lot. I notice more then a day extra before one of a string getting in to voting.
Update - both mine and my husband's upgrades from May 9 were resolved today (May 31). I'm still not comfortable using new ones, but at least these went through.
I'm fairly new to this at 564 reviews with a great rating and earned 2 upgrades. I spent an upgrade on one of my nominations that has been upgraded for 3 weeks.
It's discouraging to put in this work for an upgrade that really isn't working. Hopefully this bug is fixed. For the moment, I'm holding off reviewing until I see my one upgrade resolve.
The supposed fix from a week or so ago, may not be working. I since upgraded a nomination in voting, thinking for sure this won't happen a THIRD time to me. It did.
Maybe the current challenge is to blame -- no one reviewing nominations in my area? -- but it sure looks like the old in-voting upgraded nomination stuck.
Hey just FYI they haven't confirmed any fix has been implemented (or given any substantive updates at all) on the issue. They only said that a fix was in progress.
Chances are, it'll be fixed after the challenge is over. And the probable sad thing is, we'll get no compensation for the upgrades we used before/during this bug issue.
Not only this, but it's not impossible for this to have been caused by the changes made for the challenge. Unfortunately, the over-one-month delay in Upgrades functionality has cause a tremendous amount of damage to my local PoGo community. Today's event should have had 8 more stops in our local park (taking into account S2 cells, quality of submissions, submissions, and Upgrades) and did not. It decreases the quality of every event for us and people (myself included) are losing interest as Niantic seemingly cares little about fixing an issue which removes one of the primary reasons for Wayfaring.
Personally, after I had only one of four upgrades go through in one month and get declined (which Niantic Community Forum agreed should not have been), I have barely touched the recent challenge and abandoned my goals for the challenge and Wayfaring in general.
Yeah I'm losing interest in both wayfarer and pogo. I really feel like everything that excited me about both has been nothing but a frustrating let down over the past month or two. I don't want to waste my summer doing free labor for a company that doesn't give a **** about me.

Any update on this yet? I think It's been almost a week now since the post confirming that there's a problem and they're working on a fix.

Also, withdrawing a nomination still in the queue does NOT give you back your faulty upgrade, just in case anyone wondered.
We need an update on this supposed fix.

upgraded nomination (in voting) for 18 days now. Surely there is a way to push this nomination through. (And other people’s nominations)

An update of this issue is needed, how long is the expected time for it to be fixed?
With the currently wayfarer challenge, a lot of reviewers earn upgrades that cant be used.
Or is the issue only for already applied upgrades? Or also if upgrades are used now? Please elaborate.
Would like an update if possible.
Has there been any progress?

So just to let you all know my nomination finally resolved. I wish the same for the rest of you.
My upgrade from about 2 1/2 weeks ago also resolved, so perhaps progress is indeed being made.
The question is, are these upgrades resolving because the problem is veing fixed, or just because they got enough votes through the regular voting system? Because I don't want to waste a third upgrade unless I know it's actually going to work this time.
In my case, it was definitely the upgrade kicking in. I have other nominations in the area that have been in the queue for over a year.
Small reminder, with Indonesia being not popular for reviewing things slow down a lot. I notice more then a day extra before one of a string getting in to voting.

Sorry that's happening to you. Your first few upgrades are really critical so you can see the success and keep Wayfaring.
The system was working pretty nicely until this, so I hope you can hang in there and reap the rewards soon.
Any update from niantic on this? Lack of communication more frustrating than the error.
I'll definitely hang in there, and appreciate your insight

Seriously though where the heck is an update? Don't trust a data tracking company with customer service I guess
Tried one to test yesterday since some people were reporting they were working....they are not :,-(
I seriously don't expect to be fixed at least until Global Review Challenged ended and we get the usual nominations...
