Upload failure results in multiplied submission

When creating a nomination, I got the message of an upload error several times. After I tried repeatedly with the upload button, I finally got the message that the upload was successful. To my shock, the submission had now taken place a total of 7 times. It doesn't just look stupid in Wayfarer. That cost me 6 additional upload slots.
It would be nice if you could delete the multiplied submissions from my account and refund me the slots

You can withdraw the duplicated nominations, but I don't think the Wayfarer team can credit you your nominations back as that's dealt with on the Pokémon Go side of things.
I have that too and lost 4 extra slots. Best is to leave them until the poi is accepted and only then withdrawn the rest.
I have also experienced this problem, lost an extra slot.
Thanks for the report, Explorer. Please ensure that you check the submissions before trying again in such cases. Clicking on submit again and again may lead to duplicate submissions. Having said that, I have escalated this report internally for further analysis.
