This list was from Thursday sync but Friday sync also had a lot of coal.
It did seem to have slown down around June 6-7.
But the coal started to come back Thursday and Friday in less numbers but its still being accepted.
A friend from a other city also said that their nominations are still accepted after +-3 days doesn't matter what you send in 90% it's accepted and sometimes they reject nominations for strange reasons as example not cultural/historical or really strange reasons as 18+ location or the title is abusive.
This one I'm not 100% sure if it's coal or the tile seems to say something only you can't see what its saying but can maybe be fixed with a better picture.
Street library, sheltered from the rain. Content renewed regulary and sometimes even advertised in the street whatsapp group is just a wooden crate outside.
If I remember correctly niantic said that there are certain rules for the tiny library's as wayspot.
Otherwise everyone can place a wooden crate outside with a few books and call it a tiny library.
And schommel aan het water was linked to me by someone on the local discord stating that the poi was on private property.
@pieniechan-PGO You might be right in the Tiny Library. But can't remember the exact specs. Must be somewhere here. Hadn't had the need to look for it though, all that are here generally of good quality. Some even have it's own name and have been marked on Google Maps.
But the swing, It's hard to see without Streetview. But looking at the map and satellite it looks like it's on public property, a bit hidden away. The gardens seem to end a few meters back and there seems to be a path. Maybe the path is fenced off, but there is noting visible that indicates that.
Below a screenshot of streetview in the direction of the footpath. And part of the topview.
So as long as the swing is still there, it seems a valid POI.
Since last week the team has been investigating and removing abusive Wayspots. Thank you and our Ambassadors for raising this issue. We'll continue our investigation and continue applying consequences to the abusers.
Thank you for taking this up, any plans on dealing with the wrongly rejected wayspots as well? There are loads of examples of those as well in the early phase of the Wayfarer Challenge.
At this time we will only be addressing abuser consequences and removing abusively approved Wayspots. Wrongly rejected Wayspots can be resubmitted in the meantime or held until we finalize our investigation. We will be updating the community once we have more to share.
What is exactly “the exploit”. I nominate a lot of POI’s in each week and I noticed them getting approved very quickly. I’m not doing anything different when submitting them. They are all according to the criteria, are real POI’s etc. I use all my nominations every time and I got out to find new spots in the area. Like I said I don’t use any exploit or do anything different than normal, but got like 40+ pokestops approved in a few days. And the fact that things got approved so quickly it only made me motivated more to submit more POI’s. Should I be worried now to being punished? Or only the people submitting coal nominations? I don’t want to risk my account for any reason, because it’s so valuable for me. I saw trash bins and road signs getting accepted in my town nominated by other people. Do they need to fair to get banned? I’m sorry for not understanding what exactly count as an exploit. I just logged in onto the forum to ask this since a friend of mine send me this thread.

That is not just a street sign. It doubles as a memorial plaque for someone who is significant enough to the local community to have a street named after them.
Most dutch Street signs do have a little text under it explaining who the person was. So for dutch standards this is mass produced because you could request whole neighborhoods as wayspot this way.
This site explains it a little more (website is in dutch)
That site says most Dutch street signs don't have a little text. And even if they did, that is not relevant. We are supposed to review every wayspot on it's own merit.
The fact that the text is there means that some people care about that, and since it is an info sign, that makes it explore worthy. In contrast to the actual street name, that text has no functional purpose. It is only there for people who are exploring, trying to learn something new.
Mass produced is for objects that are no longer explore worthy because there are so many identical ones, like garden gnomes that you can buy in a gardening center, and objects that don't meet eligibility criteria, like regular street signs and parking bollards.
They might not be the greatest candidates, but saying they are nowhere near criteria is just ignorant.
It's 50 / 50 depending on the city as example I know this neighborhood every street shows a little text under it .
But maybe that's more something for niantic to clarify what streetsigns they find acceptable or not.
Because I remember correctly Germany haves similar street signs and those would be also rejected or accepted depending on who was voting on the appeal. Maybe a interesting question for a AMA as example?
It's has been requested often from dutch/ german wayfinders for more clarification if this would be a acceptable wayspot candidate
People also used the "there is to many of them"-argument for trail markers (NCN in the UK, node/knooppunt network and even named trails in The Netherlands and Belgium), but that is irrelevant.
From the AMA answer you posted: In general, if the signs have educational content, they can be considered valid candidates. And from the site you posted: Vaak ter leeringh, soms ter vermaeck (Often for education, sometimes for enjoyment). When I put those together, I consider them valid candidates.
But my point was not about their eligibility. My point was that they are not "nowhere near criteria". They do not belong in this thread. They are not abusive. And they don't meet removal criteria, so there is no need to report them.
In our (Dutch) village, maybe 20/30% of the streets is named after a historical (mostly male) person and has an additional info text to the Street sign. Not all of those street signs are located in empty cells and have the chance of becoming a Pokestop/Portal. And usually there is only one street sign with the additional info text per street.
Most streets in our village do not have the historically/cultural relevance to put such texts on them. So the argument of the mass-production/mass Pokestop will not be that bad..
Nowadays those trailmarkers are valid wayspots everywhere. Personally, I think the street signs with historical text are more relevant and less mass produced than the trailmarkers and they have a higher educational value. Well I’ve definitely learned something new, submitting them ☺️.
This specific debate about street signs could be in another thread.
It is helpful to those trying to track abuse if this thread could just focus on those direct issues - we all like to get sidetracked but this is important and it helps to keep this on track. Thanks.

Huh, I thought this abuse should be reduced now that the challenge has been over. When did those Wayspots been accepted?

I agree with most of the things posted here are all coal. But not all.
Why is that "Street Library" on the list?
And why is "Schommel aan het water" on the list?
Those are definitely no coal. Up for debate at best as far as I can judge from my office chair.
Maybe @pieniechan-PGO can educate me on those 2.

Do you want us to keep sharing coal nominations? Or are you just going to check all the accepted nominations from the last x weeks in the Netherlands?

If you didn't submit anything ineligible, you don't need to worry.
Only accounts submitting and approving explicitly ineligible/fake/abusive nominations will be targeted.
Very common dogsign
'420 sign' just next to the dogsign. Adult content.
Another common dogsign, close to first one. Also wrongly placed by purpose to create a new stop.
Same park, different exactly the same looking dogsign.
Fietsenstalling/Bicycleparking. There are dozens like this. Plus the info is made up info.
Common Dutch mailbox
On 52.306529,4.878143 another common Dutch mailbox. Not on intellmap so can't link to it.
And another Dutch mailbox
Back to the oh so common dogsigns. Here's one more.
And just a few steps away, for the collectors, another dogsign.
Because the dogsigns are a hype. One cones through, they start to submit them all.
The sign 'Bord Parkeerplaats' in Zandvoort. A screen was posted earlier, not sure if a link was posted already.
That's it for now. I'm sure there are a lot of others. Will post if I find them.
Really wish we could more easy report such submissions ingame.
And here i was thinking we had alot trash coming in Leidschendam during the challenge... sometimes its worse in other places i guess!
