Additional information:
Fort Myers Beach Pier (and much of the rest of Fort Myers Beach) was destroyed by Hurricane Ian in September 2023. The pier remains destoyed to this day, without a timeline to replace it.
(PS: it would be nice if the rest of the surrounding wayspots were cleaned up as well, as the entire area was decimated)

This just makes no sense to me. How cruel can you be. The entire area is decimated, by all means let’s wipe out their pokestops too.
It's Sept 2nd. "remains destroyed to this day"... Sheesh, this isn't Japan where they can fix infrastructure within a couple of days.
Let's give it some for the locals to recover and start to rebuild, please, before you go calling for a cleanup of virtual representations of real life locations.
Hi there, my original post contained a typo. These were destroyed in september of 2022 (a year ago, not 2023). That probably should have been obvious by the name of the hurricane, as well as me posting this on morning of September 1st, as you pointed out. Hope that clears that up for you.
Looks to me like another example of you weaponizing the wayfarer system. Makes me wonder if you ever went and put all those portals back that you moved away from the subject so you could get it in the next cell to make new poke gyms and stops?
Thanks for the appeal, @AisforAndis-ING. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspots in question.
