The Royal Canadian Legion branch moved from the nearby building last year. All of the war memorabilia associated with it has since been removed.

Although the field artillery gun used to stand here….

….the spot now is now vacant and overgrown….

The following link is an article from October 2022, detailing the legion’s decision to move from the location on Lawson Rd to one slightly north on Morrish Rd.

I’m unsure of where the field artillery gun eventually ended up because it did not move to the new legion location.
