I fail to understand how a sidewalk does not have pedestrian access. Sidewalks are built so pedestrians can safely walk to their destinations without the risk of being hit by moving vehicles. The supporting photograph clearly shows the geodetic marker is on a sidewalk (lower right corner).
How did Niantic's appeal reviewer decide that a sidewalk and this wayspot does not have pedestrian access.

Hi, whilst I agree it apears to have clear pedestrian access, as per the heading this section of the forum does not deal with nomination appeals.
This is a great example of the shoddy state of Niantic appeals process. Makes you wonder whhether factionalism has creeped into Niantic.
I contacted Niantic but they have convinced themselves that sidewalks do not have Pesestrian access.
Update: Niantic Appeal reviewer accepts their previous rejection was incorrect and have changed their reason (Excuse).
Should we reject playground slides, swings, basebal fields, goalposts.. they are all mass produced. All the hiking trail signs are mass produced. Utility boxes are mass produced
Reject all? Niantic is giving confusing signals.
Trying to reject them all and you deserved 30 days ban as well.
