Playground set up as several portals

If I remember correctly, the rules are that one playground should be one portal (wayspot)
In this case, at least 3 portals are from the same playground, whats the proper way to have them reported?
Would it be sufficient enough to report them as duplicate?

That really depends on the size of the general play area and if the play structures are dedicated/unique objects.
For example, a structure shaped like a fort with slides that is in a separate play area may be considered a different Wayspot than a climbing web.
As for reporting, you could try reporting them as duplicates of each other though the in-game contributions screen, but Niantic rarely uses that except for obvious duplicates of the exact same thing.

Agree with @Gendgi-PGO, if the play structures are very close to one another and/or connected (i.e. part of the same structure) then they should be a single Wayspot.
But if the play area is big enough that they could be considered unique meetup spots (for example), then they should be ok as separate Waypsots.

It's also worth pointing out that there are proximity rules for wayspots. If all four of those wayspots are accurately located, they probably do count as "separate meetup spots". If they were truly "in the same playground", they might have been accepted by reviewers, but wouldn't have made it into Ingress due to the proximity rules. And if they're not accurately located, that might be the point to focus on.
