I suggested an edit to this pokestop because the name is not only unrelated to the point of interest, it is clearly a reference to genocide. There has been no action yet and I think it needs to be prioritized.

Overall I would agree that it's a completely unnecessary reference to the genocide known as the Trail of Tears and should be renamed.
I agree. The POI is eligible but the name needs to be changed. There are actual POI in the system that acknowledge and educate about the atrocity of the Trail of Tears. There is no need to use that name for a random fountain.
