Can't end review session by returning to home acreen

After hitting submit when reviewing Wayspot nominations it automatically goes to the next nomination. I don't have the choice thst I used to have to review next or return to home screen. After reviewing 20 or so nominations I'd like to take a break but it's giving me more to do without the option to go back to the home screen and stop reviewing for a time. Since letting them time out is not good for my score I'd like the opportunity to say when I'm done for the time being.
Anyone else seeing this?
I review off my Android phone mostly.

Yeah this is happening for me too. Have to let it time out to stop reviewing. Niantic continues to break wayfarer even more.
Same. Have tried on Chrome on both PC and mobile with no relevant add-ons running.
I am having this problem also. It started when I was reviewing on my Android phone. I switched to my laptop and had the same problem in Google Chrome. Tried using Microsoft Edge instead but had the same problem regardless of browser.
Me too! I always review on my laptop in Google Chrome. Now it sends me to the next review without giving me an option to go to home. Have tried clearing Google cache, but that didn't work. Started today 7/1 a little before 8pm Eastern Daylight time.
That's about the same time it started with me
I am also experiencing this issue.
I've turned off all my browser extensions (Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, etc) and even tried it in a private window, and I'm still experiencing this issue. I am experiencing this in both firefox and chrome on a Windows 10 laptop.
@NianticCasey-ING @NianticKN-ING since leaving nominations unreviewed, eventually timing-out can affect your Wayfarer rating negatively, this bug is hurting the score of every reviewer affected by it. Can you look into this please? We really don't need more people complaining about going into the red for seemingly no reason.
Also facing this. Started out of nowhere last night during a review session on laptop.
This is also happening to me. I don't wish to let anything time out but I have no option to end my session. Tried on Windows desktop and iPad with no success. It just goes straight to the next review.

As the title says, the pop-up that offered reviewers a choice to continue or stop reviewing is no more. The sudden change to Wayfarer is being discussed on Reddit and Discord channels. Let's have a discussion here as well.
I have two questions:
I think it's fair to say the most common concern is being penalized with a cooldown.
I seem to be stuck in this weird loop also. The home/review next button has gone. So you can't stop reviewing except for by timing out. Doesn't this then penalise you?
So Niantic
a) dumps many reviewers into the red so our pogo and recon medals don't improve
b) wonders why people then stop reviewing
c) makes it impossible to stop reviewing.
Haha. Well I'm heading for my fastest ever upgrade, and possibly my first ever cool down...
I even got a 24 hours "ban" because of that. Didn't even know that you HAD to review everything they show you
I mean c'mon, why? When I don't review it's because I don't know how to review, so I just don't do it. Isn't that better than reviewing randomly? Why punish volunteers because they do your job for free, Niantic?

Yes, started yesterday, super annoying and I'm wondering if it adversely affects my rating since I inevitably have to time out when I'm done reviewing!
it is happening to everyone. it was on my chrome browser, my sons Edge with his account and my other sons account with firefox.
I've noticed this as well. I continued until I hit a submission I was really uncertain about and probably would've skipped anyway.

funny thing is, how will that end up if i dont finish a review? can we be more then red?

When reviewing a proposal of wayspot and giving send, the option of "go to home - review next" does not come out immediately
jumps to the next proposal of wayspot, which if one leaves can be downgrade in wayfarer
Any solution?

This bug is happening to me and other wayfarers in our community here. The issue here is when you hit the "Submit" button to submit the review, regardless of whether reviewing the whole form, 1* rejection, duplicate, you name it, it skips the "Your review is recorded." screen with the Go Home and Next button and goes straight to the next candidate in line for you to review.
So, apparently nobody from the Wayfarer team spends any time reviewing, at least using the same platform as us, or they'd have commented and/or reverted it back by now.
A nomination timing out will not affect your performance rating.

Thanks for surfacing this, I hear you on the surprise change and I am working on implementing a process to better communicate changes like this for future instances. My sincere apologies for the surprise.
In walking through this change with the Wayfarer team, the intention here is two-fold: 1. to make it easier and more streamlined for reviewers who are in the zone and 2. to respond to a long-requested piece of feedback specifically about removing this message.
That being said, the team didn't make this change without considering its impact on your reviewing experience. We conducted an analysis on the number of reviewers who have received a cooldown message and determined that the presence of this message didn't have an impact.
That being said, we're going to be keeping an eye on cooldowns to make sure that this remains true after removing the button.
I think we've been asking for an updated & accurate Wayfarer review guide for much longer than this "feature." We've also been asking for better communication for as long.
Could you confirm that, regardless of the affect (or lackthereof) this would have on cooldowns, having a nomination show up that is then closed out does not adversely affect the "number of nominations reviewed" tied to your profile, and that you would able to potentially be able to review that nomination in the future?
